Are they 2 afroamerican MM teams this season? (Michael & Moe and blue shirts MM one) Do I understand this correctly?

As far as I'm aware yes and both look to be in blue. I've labelled the guys seen in LAX as Team #4 and Michael and Moe as Team #9 in the Timeline.

My best guess for differentiating is the height difference between Michael and Moe is quite significant - hard to tell with the other team based off the one grainy pic we have though.

Yes, one is Michael/Moe (tall/short AA) - they started from Buffalo/Chicago while the other AA men are about the same height and started from LAX. Michael/Moe are wearing lighter blue.

I am trying to get any intel on the Caucasian M/M team. Did you get any pics of this team in passing?

There is a video in live now of this team. They’re fairly fit and young yes. The army LAX guys I only saw getting in a cab at Heathrow and they looked older than me (26) and younger than 40. Probably early to mid 30s. Be nice to get some pictures of them tomorrow.

Reiterating the ‘older male’ in red with the Asian female are actually both 30-39 and I would say likely not older, whereas the older male and ‘younger female’ who I hadn’t spotted earlier in the day are actually both 45+ (I would say) but both very handsome and well groomed. You wouldn’t think it, but I would say they’re both 45-49.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say Arun (the Indian father) is the eldest. He looks 50-55.

And if I can add a tiny bit of commentary to this (naughty I know), I think the spread of teams by size, height, ethnicity and age is very good. The only downside is 2 female-female teams. As has been the case the past few seasons, I’ve been lamenting the lack of a 45+ ‘older’ mom or grandmother team. We see too little female-female teams these days, and even less do we see a pair that are both in this demographic. Come on CBS!

Just wanted to add a few things. On listening to my audio of teams meeting production at Heathrow, it appears our purple brunette FF team identify as Alex and Mikayla, or Kayla. So be on the lookout for those names.

I also have a video of our older Charlotte couple (grey hair and blonde) and she says ‘where’s Pete’ as he was helping Ray and Caro at the art detour after they got their clue. So I think his name is Pete or Peter.

That looks a lot like them. And Penn (the man’s name) could easily be misheard as Pete

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of Penn and Kim Holderness and the blue team. The men look really similar. Same hair color, same facial structure

Also, the brunette FF wearing purple, I think the one with glasses is Kayla and I heard her say ‘Raquel’ which is strange because I thought I heard something else at the airport. But listening back. Her name is Raquel. So they’re Raquel and Kayla.

The Purple FF Team is indeed Cayla Lee & Raquel Moore. 
They are both Flight Attendants for American Airlines and Best Friends.
Raquel is 31 years old, on top of being a Flight Attendant, she is also a Realtor.
Raquel is a former news reporter for CBS.

Was looking at the only pictures of Team #5: Mixed M/M in Red/Blue as indicated in Oval's timeline and Live Sightings in 2020. One pic in LAX and one at the Pit Stop in Glasgow. Upon closer inspection, one of them is young-looking while the other one appears older. There is also baldness on the head, which could indicate, the person is probably middle-aged. I suspect this might be either a Father/Son or Stepfather/Stepson.

I think I found the missing African American M/M team: Taylor and Purpose Green-Jones, husbands whose wedding went viral. Their social media gaps match filming dates for both pre and post COVID.

Not 100% sure about this one but one of the Caucasian M/M guys might be Ryan Ferguson, host of MTV's "Unlocking the Truth" who was wrongfully convicted of murder in 2001 for 10 years. He doesn't post on social media much, but he doesn't have any post from either of the filming dates. He also lives in Columbia, MO which would line up with the piece of info about that team flying to Chicago from St. Louis. I can't for the life of me find out who his partner could be so if anyone can help with that, that would be great!

That's the one. We had Ryan last year but couldn't quite get a hold of his partner. Can also confirm Taylor and Isaiah (that's his name). We are only missing one team now from the original run in 2020.

Just for context of who Spencer & Anthony are. They were one of the people that helped stop the Paris train terrorist attack that inspired the Clint Eastwood movie THE 15:17 TO PARIS. They also played themselves in the movie.

Spencer and Anthony were honored in France and the United States for their heroic acts in stopping an armed terrorist on a train going from Germany to Paris. The movie 15:17 to Paris was created and directed by Clint Eastwood and is an autobiography of those events. They are two of three lifelong friends since middle school, who were reservists in the National Guard, and who were involved in their act of heroism in 2015 and the film was based on their book of the same name published in 2016.

Not the first time a hero was cast on TAR. Ron Young, a former POW during the Iraq War, raced in season 7 with a beauty queen, both were from South Carolina. His story was known to viewers at the time.

A couple of details mentioned in the current Wikipedia article about Spencer Stone.
In 2015, several months after the train terrorist event, Spencer was attacked and repeatedly stabbed in the back with life threatening injuries to his lungs, liver, and heart, requiring emergency open heart surgery.
In November 2020, he traveled to France to give testimony in the trial of the train terrorist and three accomplices. Before he was able to give his testimony he was hospitalized for undisclosed reasons and his testimony was delayed. Note this was several months after the production suspension for season 33. BTW, Spencer and his two friends not only received the Legion of Honor from France in 2015, they were naturalized as citizens of France in 2018. That 2020 hospitalization may be relevant to the resumption of production a few months ago.

So, he's obviously gained US citizenship via residency for a certain period, a green card or through his parents's status?

After all the cast has been doing recaps, etc. I find the teams were all recruited to some extent - either being "famous" on social media, appearances on network talk shows, or being contacted by casting people via social media. Disappointing for those fans that apply the regular route to get on TAR.
