The Vietnamese tasks not shown for the upcoming episode, i.e. meant for Leg 4 include basket-boats and motorcycles, both of which looked like some place outside HCMC.

Spoke too soon - at least it's not Cai Be.

Thanks for the update. Would've been 'that guy' who asks where's the episode next week. :funny: But a two-hour episode... let's play will Rachel call in to work late the next day?

It is NOT a two hour episode.

It is two SEPARATE episodes airing back to back as far as we can tell.

We have been discussing this quite a bit in the MEDIA thread..

We do have a thread for the scheduling.
Okay, thank you Peach! Are we going to make a single thread for live updates that night or will it also be back-to-back update threads? I kind of forgot the protocol for this.

Like the TAR29 EP 4 - 5 and EP 9 - 10, instead of TAR 30 EP 7-8, 9-10, 11-12?

I get that, but I still feel like they should've let people know in the previews for the next week (or two weeks from now in this case) that there's going to be two episodes or two hours. Though, I'm sure that the commercials will emphasize the two episodes/hours.

Even worse, they didn't even mention that there's no TAR next week. Usually they'd have Phil say "In two weeks..."

In other words, everyone is going to feel bamboozled next week because CBS can't get their hit together when it comes to TAR.

And then double bamboozled when a second episode magically appears after the first one barring clarification in the previews/sneak peaks.

Technically, they might be tuning in to the second episode at 9pm if they didn't know an ep airs at 8 pm lol

Much of that lack of updated promo, previews is probably because the change in the premiere date was so last minute. I think they just dropped the ball. After all, Game of Thrones had an anachronism of a Starbucks coffee cup in this past Sunday’s episode.
With the finalization of the last half of the season only now in focus, and with upfront this coming week, I think the promo monkeys had their hands full. And if they need fill to do updated voiceovers, there may simply had not been time.

Forgot to say this on Wednesday but continuing from my whole schtick last week about how the top teams in terms of average thus far reflect the endgame heavily, with the results of leg four and Rachel/Elissa dropping back a bit, the team averages right now almost exactly tell the finishing order. Pretty wild.

Colin & Christie: 2.5
Victor & Nicole: 3.0
Leo & Jamal: 4.0
Tyler & Korey: 4.75
Becca & Floyd: 4.75
Rachel & Elissa: 5.5
Janelle & Britney: 6.5
Chris & Bret 6.75

If you swap Vic and Nic and Tyler and Korey, you get the likely (though not confirmed as far as I know) top 5 finishing order exactly (but nonetheless, the top 5 in average right now legit makes up the top 5). Do that and then randomly flip Chris & Bret ahead of Rachel & Elissa and you get the entire finishing order. Predictability.

Season 20 is the one season with almost perfect predictability beforehand. Only Vanessa & Ralph and Bopper & Mark will change place according to their racing average.

Seeing as last season had more than one Head-to-Head, the unaired Vietnamese badminton might only be the first of two.

Looks like we’re having a Head-to-Head in Uganda (I’m assuming it’s Uganda because why would they have back to back Head-to-Heads and have one in a NEL?)

Two iconic teams taken out by a Head-to-Head this season </3

So by selling Rolexes, the episode title refers to Ugandan food instead of Swiss bling.

9-8-7 NEL sequence confirmed, complementing the two most recent odd-numbered seasons' (27's 8-7-6 and 29's 7-6-5).

I think that it's speculated that next week is Rachel & Elissa's elimination and the following leg in an NEL
