Buenos Aires has a bunch of activities to offer. That does not mean choose the obvious and pointless stuff. But I am smiling that placements kept fluctuating this leg. I think this was a minor step up from the recent Rio leg. But I got to point out... where is someone thinking like a dog?!
LEG 2 (Brazil --> Argentina) EPISODE REVIEWDRINK: Argentinian cocktail
Agreement deals from the start? Since when does anybody truly need an alliance on a race? At the end of the leg, everyone is looking out for their teammate and theirselves. Nobody is going to be voted out, evicted or fired. If you are really worried about a U-Turn, just race smarter and faster. Now that is a hymn from a church choir.
DETOUR: (Be Trashy or Be A Statue-Napper)
I found myself enjoying the cardboard collecting task.
Seeing people rush to bins and frantically stuff bags with the discards was a spectacle. Does that make me seem trashy, no, but perhaps I should consider beginning new hobbies. As only Kelsey & Joey made a run being statue kidnappers, I can not tell a lie. That was a very boring task.
DETOUR SCORE: 8/10
Bartolome Mitre... that's a fun phrase to say. Too bad it only means a meter on Bartolome. There are tons of them for cars to reserve if I have to guess.
ROADBLOCK: (Who drank a little too much and is mesmerized by a camera rotating every time someone is dancing on a wall?)
This dancing task beats all other dancing tasks in the past few seasons. Although it made me feel a bit nauseous when the camera made a 90`turn, I loved watching this task play out. Best of all, Tanner & Josh got some hater karma. Karma is on an all-time high this season. "You're the woman, I'm the man."
ROADBLOCK: 8.5/10
When Denise & J.E. almost outleaped the Tyler & James wannabes, I would have been laughing all of tonight. Sadly, I am disappointed that Alex & Adam fell short. Well, I would have been disappointed for any of the bottom three team's to go.
Much like this review, the episode was boring... but a nice spectacle.
OVERALL: 8.2/10
