Six resorts + a presidential villa (which I assume would be for the crew)? Sounds like a really convenient place to eliminate the 7th place team.

6 rooms and a villa with two bedrooms.......doesnt sound like enough room for everyone to me........not cast and crew anyway.

I think it is just a hop from the mainland...don't know that anyone stays there.

They're eliminating the 6th place team I believe. Or it's an NEL.

Detour sign? "Coconuts?"

Also a race flag in the upper-left corner of that shot.

I agree that looks like a likely Detour name sign.

I know I did this previously, but it is easier to redo that than find it.

CDG to SEZ (Mahe, Seychelles)

Only Nonstop Flight is AF952 CDG SEZ 1930 0705+1

connecting Doha QR020 CDG DOH 1605 2340
QR702 DOH SEZ  0050+1 0645+1 Note that this will arrive ahead of the nonstop by 20 minutes

connecting Dubai EK076 CDG DXB 2150 0620+1
EK707 DXB SEZ 0625+1 1305+1 this has to be the only 5 minute international connect time I have ever seen

A map here seems to spot Michel as a few hundred yards south of the jetty. The internet cafe sign can be seen if you enlarge this photo (apparently they're standing on the main street).

Tortoises!!!
I hope the CBS web monkeys know the difference between tortoises and turtles...

The Seychelles are apparently home to giant tortoises similar to the Galapagos tortoises.

Thanks to ALL of you fro the great Detective work!! :jumpy:

Reposting Slowhatch;s excellent link here:

La Digue maps: traditional map here and interactive map with panos (called "rotographs" ???) here (be sure to turn off the music first).

These 360 pano's include the ferry, the jetty, the tortoises, the ox-carts, the helicopter pad, and some other places we might see as well.  Great pics...it was a little slow to load for me but worth the wait!!

Also spec that we MIGHT see teams use the inter-island ferry as well as the helicopter as we know crew used boats between the islands for sure.

It looks like Ali is crying in some of the screencaps and it says "Trouble in Paradice".  Maybe they tried the coconut detour and switched to the Turtle Trundle one.  :duno:

If anyone can find this vid on YouTube please feel free to embed it or tell me and I will change out mine so everyone can see.

I think they forget their bags, sailing...

I was trying to make that say Turtle bounce :lol3: and I never saw a bouncing turtle :funny:

Can't get a clearer shot of the RB clue but think it refs the clue in the bottle. :swim

This link may be the location of the detour tasks.  Both may happen at the L'Union Estate (park).

The coconuts may be related to the Copra Mill :

Once a leading industry in Seychelles, the production of Copra (the dried flesh of a coconut and the oil derived from it) has declined significantly and today the only remaining Copra Mill on La Digue is at the L'Union Estate where you can see every stage of the copra processing, from the laborious de-husking to the final purifying and bottling of the oil.

The tortoise stuff may take place at the Tortoise Pen:

Found at the foot of the L'Union's giant boulders some of the tortoise are over hundred years old.
