Yes. That's where most of my strong scores come from. I don't know how well I'd do without them. :P

For someone who hasn't looked at the spoilers I'm surprised I'm doing so well. I don't however feel very confident this week so I won't be shocked if I don't do very well.

There is still quite a lot of room in this game even if you know spoilers...just look at my first episode scores. :groan:

And here are what I believe are the correct answers!

5 Points - Do we hear how much money teams are provided in the episode?
0 points - 16 people answered this question - Yes, $48 from Monique

10 points - Which team states the title, “Run Like Scalded Dogs!”?
0 points - 16 people answered this question - Cord & Jet

15 points - A team goes to the ER (or similar), which team is it?
0 points - 13 people answered this question - Brent & Caite (OK now I know I missed something in the spoilers!!)

5 Points - Is this due to an injury?
0 points - 14 people answered this question - No, I can't believe the majority was correct on this.

5 Points - Is the team that goes to the ER eliminated?
0 points - 16 people answered this question - No

5 points - Are all teams equalized at the 1st Bus station?
0 points - 12 people answered this question - Yes Argue (away)

5 Points - Are all teams departure times (from the Pit Stop) shown this week?
0 points - 15 people answered this question - Yes,  And I thought at first that Brent & Caite might screw this up, but not only do they confirm by subtitles their specific departure time but time getting to ER, and new time actually departing Pit Stop.

And my god, Louie and Michael did absolutely awful, awful last leg.

5 Points - Does any racer (besides Cord & Jet) comment about how easy (or words to that effect) this week’s tasks should be for the Cowboys?
No - While We do Hear Carol & Brandy talk alot about the Cowboys the only who actually states about how its easy for them is Jet & Cord (of course they are talking about what they heard Carol & BRandy say, but we don't hear it).

5 points - Do all teams get a gnome?
0 points - 18 people answered this question - Yes, in fact during the full episode you see the gnome with each team at some point after going to the Roadblock.

10 points - Which team is first to get the Roadblock clue?
0 points - 1 people answered this question - Joe & Heidi, seconds before Carol & Brandy.  While we see Carol & Brandy read their clue first.  We see Joe & Heidi get and tear open their clue (enough to see the red showing that it is a roadblock).

10 points - Which team is first to get the Detour Clue?
0 points - 22 people answered this question - Cord & Jet

10 points - Which team is the first to get a Gnome?
0 points - 2 people answered this question - Joe & Heidi

5 points - Do teams drive themselves at all this week (in a car, only)?
0 points - 23 people answered this question - Yes

10 Points - How many racers fall to the ground during this leg (either off an object, or from their own two feet?
0 points - 10 people answered this question - 2, Steve falls while running, and Joe falls twice on teh "Horse"  apparently I should have asked how many times do racers fall.

15 Points - Which team (must be both racers) is first shown getting off their final bus?
0 points - 12 people answered this question - Cord & Jet
0 points - 5 people answered this question - Joe & Heidi
0 points - 2 people answered this question - Carol & Brandy
0 points - 3 people answered this question - Brent & Caite
0 points - 0 people answered this question - Monique & Shawne
0 points - 0 people answered this question - Jordan & Jeff
0 points - 0 people answered this question - Steve & Allie
0 points - 1 people answered this question - Dan & Jordan
0 points - 2 people answered this question - Louie & Michael

OK, I swear I put a Not Shown as an option (which by the way is the correct answer).  While Jet & Cord are the first team off their bus (2nd bus footage doesn't show any team actually departing so we can't tell).  But I do clearly state that it MUST show both racers getting off the bus.  We only get to see one racers (of the first three teams none on the 2nd bus).  Since I can't give zero points (the game wont score), I will assign points to every answer since none is technically correct.

10 points - Which team is first to complete the Roadblock?
0 points - 21 people answered this question - Cord & Jet

10 points - Which team is first to complete the Detour?
0 points - 20 people answered this question - Cord & Jet

5 points - Do Brent & Caite ever get awarded first place in subtitles during this episode?
0 points - 19 people answered this question - No

5 points - Do Dan & Jordan ever get awarded last place in subtitles during this episode?
0 points - 18 people answered this question - No

5 points - Which all male teams finishes the leg in better position?
0 points - 20 people answered this question - Cord & Jet

5 points - Which male/female team ends the leg in better position?
0 points - 5 people answered this question - Steve & Allie

15 points - Which team is the first to arrive at the Pit Stop?
0 points - 21 people answered this question - Cord & Jet

10 points - Which team is the last to reach the Pit Stop?
0 points - 0 people answered this question - Monique & Shawne

5 points - Is that team eliminated?
0 points - 20 people answered this question - Yes

5 Points - Its a cowboy themed episode, do we see Phil don a cowboy hat?
0 points - 16 people answered this question - No, Damn you Phil

5 points (Free Points) - Which team do you hope is the team eliminated?
0 points - 1 people answered this question - Cord & Jet
0 points - 5 people answered this question - Joe & Heidi
0 points - 6 people answered this question - Carol & Brandy
0 points - 3 people answered this question - Brent & Caite
0 points - 0 people answered this question - Monique & Shawne
0 points - 4 people answered this question - Jordan & Jeff
0 points - 0 people answered this question - Steve & Allie
0 points - 2 people answered this question - Dan & Jordan
0 points - 2 people answered this question - Louie & Michael
0 points - 2 people answered this question - None of them

Ouch, Look at the love for the Lesbians.

I don't consider them to have been equalized, particularly because they were given two different locked in departure times by production.

Also, Carol and Brandy DID mention that the Roadblock was a "Cowboy task" (In fact, a few teams stated that they weren't cowboys) but nobody said anything about how easy it would be for Jet & Cord.

Yeah Carol made some comments, but the comments on t he surface seemed to be general bitching about the cowboys (just as they did while playing poker).  We had Jeff saying he is'  a city boy not a country boy, and comments like that.

While the departure times were different, all teams getting to the bus station are stuck at the same point of the leg, waiting for their departure.

All teams are on the current leg (so no Pit Stop), and each is equalized in being able to have no forward progress in the race.

But, I might, might be willing to change my opinion (which would give Coutzy a free point!).

So Does an Equalization mean that teams not only get bunched together at one point in time, but that they must also depart as a group at the same time, or does it just mean that at some point teams are all stuck at the same point without any forward progress?  Lets hear what people say.

Say yes! I need all the points I can get.

I was basing my answer for the bunching around the thinking that teams would not all be on the same bus, fwiw.

YAY G-MAN!! :hearts:  :wtg:

Thank you Peach.  Now that I have proved to you that your elders are not complete nimkapoops, I think that I will retire from the game.  And it proves once again when you are so preoccupied with other more pressing events and you just toss all the cards up the stairs and pick them up at random you can do better than Miss Peach.  But who knows what will happen this week.
 Amen G-MAN...we elders aka the Wise Ones aren't complete nimkapoops! Looks like you stayed in the game and again, excelling!  :jumpy:  Congrats!

Carol says (when seeing the guys) "I don't believe this), then it goes to Cord saying how she thought it wasn't fair, that it was too much like their way of life, and he says well you don't see me complaining that they speak spanish.

"He got it!,  THis is ridiculous (though in fairness she just said how it was an impossible task).

"Those cowboys have dusted us."

Heidi. "My God did the cowboys get it yet?"

Carol "Oh God Yes, they're out of here"

Jordan (about Jeff):  "He's not a natural cowboy"

Jeff:  "Bitch, I'm a city boy not a country boy."

I think that an equalizer (or bunching) should mean that all teams start at the same time afterward. Of course, I've never really thought about this aspect of it before.

Now it's still an equalizer even if not all the teams get bunched...but you asked if "all the teams" get equalized, so, going with this definition of Coutzy, the correct answer would be "no".

It will make my answer wrong (I think, if I remember correctly), but hey, if I'm wrong, it's only my fault, not the game's. Best to reward those who are most correct, rather than somewhat correct - and I don't really care if I don't win, but I will try my best!

I think it applies particularly in this case because there was no possibility of teams departing on the same bus

Mr. Webster defines "bunched up" to mean to form into a bunch which is a cluster or group together as one.  The question posed by MSwood is "are all teams equalized at the 1st bus stop"  The answer is YES,all teams are together at the first bus stop.  They arrive at different times and leave in two groups 20 minutes apart.  The question says nothing about when they leave the bus stop.  In fact because of the "bunching" the cowboys lose their almost four-hour lead over Brent and Caite and 35 minute lead over Joe and Heidi

The answer should be NO because the 2 buses departed from different bus stations.

The 8:30am bus left from Del Salvador Bus Terminal (06:24 minutes into the episode) while the 8:50 bus left from the Cruz Del Sur Bus Terminal (07:17 in).

So only 3 teams got equalized at the first bus station.

THis one is actually very interperative, because all the teams at the first bus station are equalized...

Are all teams equalized at the 1st bus station.

Can also be written as "At the 1st bus station, are all teams equalized?" meaning that the location is at the 1st bus station, which means ONLY at the 1st bus station are all teams equalized, which they are.
