I've been reading the posts for awhile and I just joined in the fun. I have to say - you all have been doing an AWESOME job keeping us all updated. I don't think I could have made it through the summer without all your hard work!!! KUDOS to all of you!!!

I know it's not the popular thought on this board, but I CAN"T STAND JANIE!!! I don't think she is the least bit lucky either. There is no way one person can be so lucky as to win all the major prizes in this season. I think BB is setting it up. Janie knew she was coming off the block so she just went for the silver veto. I just thought it odd that it was so easy for her to find the key for it so easily. Is it possible that BB is setting up some of these comps to improve ratings? Janie is also just as bad as the other girls in the house. She does/has made fun of them behind their backs. She would also yell out, "Here comes a nerd!". She has also called them bitches. No one in the house is completely innocent of doing those things. If you think so, you are just being biased based on your likes and dislikes of the hgs. :roll:

No-it's not popular not to worhship Janie. But I'm right there with you in hating her. She talks about the other hg just as much and just as nasty-but because the people posting like her, it's funny, not her being a bitch. She's got fake boobs, just like April, but it's ok for her-April gets the name Busto and she's somehow gets riddiculed for implants-Saint Janie is just gorgeous. Not a fair double standard, IMO.
That being said, I've been reading here for quite sometime but I haven't posted much because most of my opnions go against the majority-but I wanted to give big KUDOS to the mods here-I've never see a forum that so lacks bickering between posters in my life. You guys are so awesome keeping it focused on the house and not getting personal. *bowing to the masters*

I dunno about Janie, I like her of course. I thought it was smart of her to go for the silver veto right off the bat. They were told that it was for the 2nd safe and for all they knew it could have been something to do with a veto or right to evict someone.
The NH were all about her being lucky but it wasn't luck. It was about analyzing the situation. She could have been thinking she was safe so go for it instead, but with the other bunch who could ever think that?
But that said.. hey, it is ok for you to have your opinions. ]**] ]**] {| {| it makes life interesting.
BTW, I am sick over the devastion from the hurricanes, I'm in Texas and wondering if my hubby and I should volunteer to go help since they are moving people to Houston. If we do, I'll have to come back here to find out what happened.

I was wondering about that myself. What was she supposed to do? Not answer the phone? It was set up so that no one knew in advance, no matter that all the rest were saying that they, of course!, would give their call to evilette. (No they wouldn't!) )< )< ]*] _-^
Then they bashed her for what she said. I'm sure they were told that they couldn't discuss the game so idle chatter was all that was left. I think she and Michael really have a thing for each other and she was just happy. Not happy with trashing her behind her back, the proceeded to do it to her face when she went to the HOH room. I admire her immensely for not saying more than she does.

:(*8 No, I'm not related to nor am I a friend of any of the hgs. I have never met any of those people in my life. Yes, I agree that what April said about America being sh*t was wrong and to some people, offensive. I can see her point though. She was going with the thought that it was all a setup by BB. I don't think she really meant that America is sh*t. She was trying to make a point about how ridiculous it all seems with Janie winning everything. As I said in my last post, I do believe it was a setup. I think BB has interfered/influenced this game in more ways than one to try to get ratings up. I know it doesn't make sense to you, but I'm not one to go with what everyone else thinks just for the sake of agreeing or being with the "in" crowd. I'm an adult and I form my own opinions based on what I see and read. Personally, I would like to see anyone other than Howie, Janie, or Ivette win this game. The only person that was in the house that acted with a little bit of dignity was Rachel and she is gone now.

I thought it was sorta funny that Jannelle received the phone call and then everyone basically blamed her for it and questioned America for their choice. I didn't vote in the America's choice, but if I had - it would have been for Janelle just to irritate the Friendship alliance. I find Ivette irritating... and I can't believe that Beau doesn't think that they are a target - evidently he's missed the way that Maggie has been looking at them... CLUELESS!

Okay I won't get personal because that is one thing I really admire about this forum, so I will say the reason I said she is shallow was the way she responded to people that miss their FAMILY AND FRIENDS, she only knew Michael for two weeks and she tried to compare that to someone's family, I would say that is pretty shallow. I have nothing against anyone, the show seems to be fixed this season. The reason everyone is mad is because they got out-played I have watched Big Brother from the beginning or close to it. And this season is very dry, remember June, and Allison now that was manipulation, the nerd herd has nothing on any of them from previous seasons. Why is everyone against the nerds I am not sure why, Howie has never won anything, and yet he is still there, could it be because he is popular? This season reminds me of high school, you have the beauty, the jock, and the nerds, and people always want to be popular.

I do wonder why she received a call from Michael. She said she would like to hear from her Mom, (someone else I can't remember) and Michael. Didn't her Mom want to talk to her? It's probably that since she was the choice, BB decided to "stir things up" by having Michael call. If I were her Mom - I would be "ticked". At least they're all shallow in their own way - some more than others, but all shallow.

I just think there is no way that BB would setup anyone in this game. Maybe I'm naive but that would certainly be unethical and would put a bad light on CBS and any of their reality programs to come. I just don't think they would do it and anyone that thinks they have, I believe is just plain jealous because Janie has won so much. Hey more power to her. If it had been Maggie, April or Ivette doing all this winning, would there still be the same bitching about one person winning it all. Of course there would be. Janie has been lucky, but she has been smart too. If she went for the silver key right off, then that was using her brain.
It still galls me to hear Ivette and the Nerd Heard saying that the other group are all evil. Why? Because they want to win the game too? Does that make you evil? Maggie, April, Bo and Ivette have just as much evil in them if there is evil in anyone. James has been playing evil since the beginning too, playing both sides or whatever is to his advantage. He is just trying to win too. Personally I don't think anyone is evil. Everyone, no matter what they say is just playing the game to win. Why else would they be there. Granted I don't like all the name calling and slurs, but who more than anyone has called Janie terrible names, and even Rachel. Horseface is certainly not very complimentary to Rachel. April, Ivette, Jen and I'm sure some of the others have been calling Janie bitch since day one I think. On both sides there has been much name calling.
I think the surprise in the last safe will be a day or night out for one or two of the guests. Probably will fly them off somewhere. That will come closer to the end though. Just my humble opinions here.

It's true - they all have some evil in them - some more than others. Oh, the name calling - it's gone on from both sides. I will say that Janie is very open about her feelings - and she's still in the game - I think it's great. I still wonder how any of them could really call Michael a perv when you have Howie "pawing" all over ALL of them - including Bo. Whatever fits the situation seems to work fine - they give no thought to their own actions (the friendship) as long as they can justify it in their minds and just for the record - I certainly don't miss Cappy!
I'm looking forward to the double eviction this week! I hope Janie wins HOH. =]/

I think it will be down as they have to do nominations, pov comp and pov ceremony before sat nite. But it shouldn't be down as customers paid to get the feeds they got to see enough fish as it is.

Do you really think that because you don't like certain people in the house, the only people who would like them is their friends and family? Sorry, not everyone agrees with you. As far as I know all the HG's have to do today is record their good bye messages ..not sure if its a live vote or recorded , from what they said it sounds like its live .
The last safe will probalby be opened in less than 2 weeks .
I stand behind Janie & the phonecall .I was one of the people that voted for her numorous times , aside from the fact that Kaysar asked us too ]][ , I probably would have voted for her anyway .
Yeah Janie has some issues , shes lazy and does not contribute around the house but thats her option . Apparently shes been getting away with it for 2 months now so who are we to judge and why didnt they get rid of her weeks ago ? And who really cares..its not my house. If shes selfish so what ? Shes not my daughter or best friend? At least she calls people as she sees them , not behind their backs ..and her lies have only been to stay in the game, stratagie like everyone else in the house , if it gets her farther so be it . I hate the Nerds and their insecuritys , if they want to sit on the side lines and pout while Janie & Howie have all the fun in the house then thats their problems , Janie & Howie are the comic relief in the house , and I say thank you BB for casting them .. =]/

Also, I know that people who do not have a live feed might see things in a different lights based on what is presented on TV, but people who do watch live feed knows what is going on. I like the fact that Janie does not go behind backs calling names, she says it to their face. I like that about her. I know there is a lot of name calling going on this show because people are taking it personally rather than taking it as a game.
For that simple reason, even though I don't like James (Sorry RealityFreakWill), I won't mind winning him (fat chance though) because I think he played the game. As for Crappy group, my only reason to not like them is I cannot stand their constant whining and we are the self righteous group. When their actions say the otherwise. It was their decision to come to the show for their 15 minutes. I know people say it is just the game and that is not the real person. I don’t buy that. You might lie, that is understandable, but to show just a strong hatred tell me that it is a part of their true personality. No matter what you cannot keep your guards up for so long, tend to show the part of their true personality.

I hope you're right. For a "summer of secrets" it's been dull. When was the last time they did a food comp??? It seems like right after Janie won the PB&J pass they stopped doing food comps. What gives? At least it would be something for us to talk about. That little pass could make for some interesting conversations in the house, but it really has become worthless!!

I said she is shallow was the way she responded to people that miss their FAMILY AND FRIENDS, she only knew Michael for two weeks and she tried to compare that to someone's family, I would say that is pretty shallow.
I don't think Janelle had any say in which of the 3 people (her mom..sister or Micheal) she got to speak to last night. BB6 set it up for Mike to be on the other end of that phonecall..more drama for their advertising dollar of course. As for comparing herself to the others and relationship value..how so. I heard (in reaction to the anger of most in the house probably), her say in the confessional that she wondered if the other house guests knew she and Micheal had some heavy romancing going on before he left. She seemed a little confused as to why they were pissed off at her. Again not her fault who BB chose for her to speak with..and the point should not be who has a more valuable relationship...after 50 plus days locked up with viurtual strangers..some of whom outwardly dislike you..who among us wouldn't be happy to speak to any friendly voice? I appreciate you're opinion, but your assuming that one of the, main reasons I don't like Jannie because she's beautiful. I respect where you're coming from on that one, but that's an insult. I don't judge people based on looks. I don't like Janie because of some of the things that she's done, said, and her attitude. I really don't like Ivette either, for many of the same reasons-and none that have to do with her looks. I really don't like the way they reacted to Janie getting a phone call. I don't see what the big deal is that it was Micheal. Think about it people, BB dials the number. Do you not think they are going to have a former houseguest back on the show if they can-especially when there is a love interest going on there?? I wish someone else had gotten the call, but since she won (fair and square, by America voting) I think it's cute she got to talk to her man. I understand all the other hg where really disappointed that they didn't win, but they didn't need to be so rude (Howie too). Every person in there is missing family just as much as the next person and that outside contact must seem like everything in the world to them, but they didn't need to go off and make Janie feel bad about it. She didn't have any control over who got the call or who was on the other end. And I'm sure her mom is just fine with it and will be thrilled to talk to Janie after she's out of the house.
Do I think that Maggie, April, or anyone else in the house is perfect? No. Do I despise the way the others have acted from time to time. Absolutely. They are playing a game and ugly is bound to rear it's head.

Okay here is my opinion for what it is worth~ I am rooting for janie because she is the underdog...everyone loves to see the underdog win. 4 to 2 that would be a come back!!
The thing I do not like about the "nerd Herd" is that they are so two faced ~ they trash the others, say theya re not deserving and they are evil when all they are doing it playing the game just like them. Maggie I think is the only one really playing the game ~ April is starting. Make a decision for yourself.
The phone call, I think it was smart of janelle to ask for Michael. WHY you ask... Think about it you are missing mom, sister, brother then you get to talk to them for 3 minutes and potientially another 4 weeks with out talking. I think I would be sadder to only get a few minutes on the phone. I would want to talk to them, but it would effect my game and emotions less to talk to Michael then mom.
I have nto watched the show yet, but have been keeping up with the feeds...next HOH will be an important win

Odessa-our thoughts a prayers are with you. I heard on the news just a few minutes ago that they are saying that people that live in NO should expect to be displaced up to 4 months, maybe more. I can't even wrap my brain around that. We also dontated money to the Red Cross (1-800-HELP-NOW). Our local Red Cross branch is saying that money is needed most right now. God be with those people.
I wonder if anyone one in the house (or sequester) has friends/family in the devasted areas. I can only imagine what a shock it will be for them when they get out.

It really is amazing the difference between what we see in live feeds and what CBS edits for us to see. Ivette probably wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't for live feeds-but she does!!! I keep wondering what I missed in past seasons?!
Does anyone remember that in the first season, they had someone typing what all the hg said, and you could go read everything on CBS.com? I loved that and was so mad they didn't have it the next year-but they had the live feed then. I can't imagine watching BB without the feeds!

Apes turned in the camera, she kept making fun of Janelle's pictures calling them "porno" , after being nice to her face.
James and Ivette talked privately and confirmed his eviction status.
Ivette basically telling him she won't vote for him because there's no point, he's fine with going 4-0.
James walked into storage and freaked because he seen his suitcase for the first time since he moved in " reality has set in"
Maggs, Apel and Ivette were trashing James outside while eating lunch. Bitching about James saying there will be nobody to blame things on after I leave.
Then trashing Janelle saying it's so horrable how she has her stuff thrown all over the house. Ivette said tommorrow shes gathering it all up, putting in a trash can and putting it on her bed. pudding did you catch the weird connections earlier? in an earlier convo ivette said that america just doesn't know what it is like to live in that house and that she has a friend like janie at home that she only stand hanging out with once every three months. very quickly james said who melissa. ivette says yea. now while this is not weird in itself, james goes on to say what a small world it is that he also knows melissa and also knows someone that bo knows and janie knows. a little bit later how and bo tallk about how they were at a party together and recognized each other on the show right away. How and Beau talk about How knowing Bo's friend Linda and Bo knowing How's roomate.
Anyone else think this is a little too coincidental? The Miami connections keep getting a little smaller. Either BB picked people with a Miami connection to make the pair twist a little more difficult to figure out...OR all of these houseguests are connected some way by some person. This might explain why Ivette was recruited for the show. A long time ago she said someone came into her restaurant asking if anyone at her work place wanted to be on the show. Now why when the show must have soooo many appicants would they need to go recruiting? The only two that don't seem to fit in the puzzle though are Jen and Ape.....

Most of the hgs have shown numerous flaws throughout this game and acted undesirably...However, I must agree with the majority of the posters and say that my disdain for the Nerd Herd outweighs any negative feelings I have had toward any former reality show contestant. Honestly, other than LOVE for a particular competitor I have never really loathed a person on a reality show nor have I ever felt that what I have seen on a reality show is any indicator of a person's real character...until now.
The Nerd Herd's behavior has been atrocious. They began the season with an alliance. Now alliance making is fine but they used bully playground tactics to terrorize and atack the character of their competitors. This was not done in the spirit of competition but rather out of hostility. Very early on they began moralizing about good versus evil and painting themselves as the virtuous. Instead of competing in any way that shows honor they bullied others and painted their competition as lesser and evil not just as a threat in the game. The behavior of the individuals in the nerd herd became even more disturbing than their collective actions.
Eric: violent and aggressive. He felt that everyone should follow his orders, his way and his lead just because he said. He honestly felt that the others should listen to him on all accounts and that he should basically be handed the game because he said so. He was so threatened by strong individuals that would not bend to his will and so egotistical and had a superman complex. Eric is the one who pushed things to get ugly in the house. He lost like a baby, refused to acknowledge the other team after his eviction (even young children have the decency to say good game after winning or losing a game to the opposing side), displayed violent behaviors and made false accusations that seriously attacked a person's character.
Ivette: There are no words for how much Ivette disturbs me. Early on she began making hateful and racist comments against Kaysar. There is no way to condone or accept this atrocious behavior. Honestly, Ivette angers me so much that I can't even begin to list the ways in which she offends...
Jenn: Jen showed her colors early on in the game. Manipulative and twisted. While I think it is great to play the game and strategize when threatened she went for the most twisted ploy (even more twisted than Johnny Fairplay's antics) to gain leverage. She accused someone of sexually harrassing her and violently asserting themselves toward her. After her lies paid off she admitted that their was little truth to them yet the Nerd Herd still embraced her and her compatriot. Women who like about acts of harrassment belong in one of the lowest categories in my mind. There are many women who have been the vitims of sexual harrassment and assault and using such an accusation as a ploy to stay in a game is an insult.
Just examining these three individuals has made me nauseos. Honestly, I can't even bring myself to relive their ugliness any further....
Now Janie is obviously flawed. She is lazy and can be blunt. But I would take that any day over any member of the nerd herd. She has also proven herself to be loyal, strong, honest and so forth. Yes, many many view her actions after winning HOH as appalling but they are overlooking the fact that Janie has been harassed since first entering the house. She has been called a whore and every other ugly name imaginable. She gave a little back and she did it to their face. I would rather someone talk **** to my face than go the cowardly route and trash me behind my back. Janie has a backbone and a thick skin. I find her to be admirable.
Obviously many other viewers do as well. They voted her alliance member back into the house. They voted for her to win AC. I have been to numerous forums where Janie has been hailed as many viewers favorite houseguest. The same cannot be said of members of the Nerd Herd. Their behavior and actions have resonated with the majority of the American viewers. Whether one believes Janie and Michael are truly in love is irrelevant. America chose her for the phone call not the others not because of their relationship but because she has impressed America (and Canada). There have been no banners flying overhead attacking Janie. The popularity polls on CBS Are overwhelmingly in her alliances favor. This all proves that for those that really are fans of show support her in this house. This was not a fluke.

Our hate really began with Apes & Jenn accusing Michael of being a sexual predator. A little flirting and fun taken to an extreme point by Apes and jumped on by some of the other house guests. (noteably Eric, Ivette and Jenn). Eric fueled the situation and it got spun way out of control, with Apes and Ivette (scared for their lives). Michael was oblivious to the situation but the viewers weren't. Accusations against Michael were all based on lies and gross exaggerations.
Secondly - The friendship are so caught up in their sad feelings that they are not having any fun in the house, and resent anyone who has fun (Janelle & Howie). Janelle has won many prizes, because she competes and has fun with them. Maggs, Ape, and Ivette have spent most of the time lamenting over their missing their life outside, and are not providing the viewers with any entertainment. . I do not care about your loved ones that you decided to leave behind to try for 500K. You made the decision, live with it and entertain us.
Third - Kayser boot. We love Kayser. He was the underdog who was left with no one at the end of the second eviction, only to rise from the ashes with a chance to be King Kayser. We love to see the underdog prevail, and Kayser rose with a smart an almost unprecedented skill at the game. Unfortunately his dramatic rise was clear even to the Friendship, who took him down. America then put him back in, and his only mistake was trusting Jenn and the friendship, which destroyed the rule of King Kayser. We were all dissapointed and were all lied to by Jenn, although most of us would not have trusted her.
Fourth - Praying for people to be booted. God is too busy to worry about April winning Big Brother. What if Howie is secretly praying. What would God do? Boot April.. (See reasons one to three)
Fifth - Continually thinking they are the "good" people, and living in a delusional state. Janelle won the America's Choice because she is liked better than the entire friendship combined. No one wants to see April or Ivette crying over a phone call. They cry every episode about something and we try not to change the channel. Their delusions and group thought are key to the cult .

I agree and I am one of the 82% of 5 million ppl. Janie to this date has never and I do mean never has ever been as bad about calling people names as Evilette has. Why does everyone think it is a slap in the face for her to get a call from Michael. Have or do you not remember falling in love. A mother/father understand this situation and prays daily for their child to find love. Maybe she has who knows, it is not for us to judge the reason....also BB made the decision for Michael, not Janie. If she was my daughter I would love for her to fall in love with Michael.....Michael is not like BB portrayed him...this was Jen's fault. If you really want to see what these people are like get live feeds you will change you mind about a lot of them.
