Glad to see a Canada revisit -- the first since TAR8/Family Edition, in fact -- but seriously? Why another out-of-country starting line? Just start in the U.S., as usual!
Glad to see a Canada revisit -- the first since TAR8/Family Edition, in fact -- but seriously? Why another out-of-country starting line? Just start in the U.S., as usual! Also what could’ve been better is that if the race had started in Seattle and Phil noted that all teams will be driving to their first destination.
Madrid, Spain! Wow! I know they've been to Spain before, but have they ever been to its capital?
That would explain the long silence. To have to fly all the way across Canada and then across the ocean to reach Europe? That would take over a day's worth of radio silence.
Is this leg two or three, though?
Wow, was not expecting them to go eastward from Vancouver. No wonder we had 2 days of silence.
And yeah, first time in Spain they've been to the capital :D
I am a little bit worried about spending more of the Race in Europe however - after seeing it for 1.5 seasons, I think we'll be a bit Europed out after this leg, so I'm hoping that they make the jump to Africa - Spain is perfectly positioned for that jump!
I kinda wondering if theyre already filmed TAR 39, and just searching this topic, and how delighted i am seeing, not only theres a 5 FF teams, they visited Canada again, but they also come back to Africa and visit new country????What do u mean by UAE/thailand/vietnam
I'm aware theyre probably not gonna visit another African country for this season, so im hoping for them to visit another undervisited countries like Turkiye, South Korea, or Malaysia/Singapore for finale hub instead went back to UAE/Thailand/Vietnam
I'm so excited for this new season, especially after that meh S38 route :cheer: :conf:
What do u mean by UAE/thailand/vietnam
hoping we get Vang Vieng!!! one of my fav places in the world

Jon wasn't the greeter in Vancouver, unfortunately. Looks like it was a First Nations man from the Pit Stop photos.
Sigh.
Five women's teams casts again . . . and once again, NONE of them will be going to the F3. Just lost the last one mere minutes ago.
There's a pic on Discord and CTS with Alejandro & Andrea, Conner & Garrett, Erin & Javier, and Daisha & Dalton all at the Pit Stop without them. They arrived just minutes later.Sigh.

Aw, Ali & Joanna are out? :(
Wow! What a day!
Got a quick op to take a photo with Phil even.
In s.38 ,i said that if a mm is booted first, then a mm wins..we still dont know who won 38 ...thats y am not confident.
Thats why when, an mm was evicted first again in 39, i didnt say anything .

We used to suffer with the m/m boot curse. A m/m team would be eliminated and all the f/f teams would consecutively be eliminated in the legs that followed.
I just cannot believe today happened, that was I able to track down most of the locations and challenges and that not only TAR returned to Australia for the first time since Season 18, 15 years ago, but this show finally visited my city. I thought this day would never come and I'm still in a little bit of disbelief I think! :funny:
Very excited to find out if we stay in Melbourne (or Australia for that matter) for Leg 11!

Dare I say, the best route of the 30s? Honolulu/Oahu is one of my all-time favorite places that I have visited. It's going to a great final location for this season.
