I didn't realize that was Eric standing behind Jeremy.

I was trying to understand why Jeremy is standing on the outside of the fence when he is inside in other shots. This explains it! Also, hats off here and hat is on later when standing by Mo.

Yeah, we've got teams bunched outside the fence and then we've got Jeremy/Monica inside the fence waiting while the others do the roadblock. The bunching still makes me think this has to be the first task of the day, and as for why Yo is so far behind Eric with the task... here's a possibility...

Maybe Eric's strategy is to cut the fruit, then put it on the table immediately in the right order (dumb) and Yo's strategy is to cut all the fruit first, then put it all on the table at once (smart). Eric's way, the monkeys are gonna get into it before he's done and Yo's way, she can get it all set up on the table at once & the monkeys don't get it. This would make it LOOK like Eric is ahead, though. Just a thought...

BTW, was anyone else confused when they 1st saw this emoticon? Did it look like it just said "hell" with a smiley, wavey guy next to it to anyone else?

In later shot, he has left his backpack somewhere and is now carrying the pots without it.

Since neither BJ nor Tyler are seen in the preparation of the monkey feast while Eric, Jo and Yo are we must deduce that The Hippies have won the FF and have lept from last to first.

Side note without any clothing of note: thin shirts and shorts for BJ I wonder how they will fare in Tokyo (November chill!) and in Alaska (even colder) and Denver?

I can vouch that this is outside Prang Sam Yot in Lopburi. This cap is of the cameraman pointing the camera eastwards towards the railway line, from right outside the temple entrance.

With BJ/Tyler waiting outside, do all four teams have to get there?

Up until know I couldn't figure out how the flights would work or how a team was spotted in Adelaide on Sunday the 27th. We were assuming that teams traveled on the 26th to be in Lopburi for the festival on the 27th. Since the teams spotted in Adelaide can't be BJ/T (backpacks) and all other teams are seen in Lopburi at the same time, I believe we have a ~~48 hour~~ pitstop in Darwin. (edited to correct, I meant 36 hour). Add if the shots we're seeing with the monkeys was on the 27th there would be crowds everywhere. I believe they are cutting up leftover fruit!

Now for the flights. If teams traveled on the 26th as originally suspected then a 5:30 a.m. flight was available through Singapore which would get them into Bangkok around noon (too early). But on Sunday the 27th that flight isn't available. However, at 5:35 a.m. teams can fly to Sydney via Adelaide or Melbourne. The flight to Adelaide arrives at 9:05 a.m. There are many flights from Adelaide and Sydney. In every case, teams would not arrive in Bangkok until 9-11 p.m.

I also think that the teams split up and took different flights. Perhaps MoJo and E/J traveled together and thought they beat the other teams with good flights (MoJos statement on thinking they were first).

I can do some further flight checking later but must go now for a day of shopping!

Hi Puddin, I'm doing a lot of non-computer work this weekend. But I did do a shadow estimate back in December when we had the first preview. I can't find it now. I think it was something like 9:30 am for the monkeys. The shadow in the pics above is also the 8 to 10 am kind of time if that camera direction is accurate.

About those two pictures at the very top of the page (with 'The Amazing Race' on them) Could this be the fast forward, because weren't you speculating that these were the two teams that were going to go for the fast forward? Also if it is, I can see BJ/T and RaYo wishing each other luck before facing off with each other in a fast forward.

From what I know, the elephants DO NOT go into the water at Ayutthaya. The river that surrounds the town resembles more a canal than what you see in the previews.

yeah I was just reading back , although I don't have GSN I remember it like it was yesterday .... I miss all those teams , Wil was such an A-Hole but he entertained me and I still remember when he and Tara appeared on the Rosie O'Donnell show and she tore Wil a new A-hole for being one
