the way I see it, there's no FF. 2 legs or 2 episodes in the same country means tptb wants to eliminate another team before heading to another country. in tar7, Susan/Patrick got eliminated in the 2nd leg of Argentina. Alex/Lynn got eliminated in the 2nd episode of India. in tar6, Gus got eliminated in the 2nd episode of Hungary. Hayden/Aaron got eliminated in the 2nd leg of China. The 2nd leg or the 2nd episode was designed like that to eliminate a team.

The last frame in the sequence is FR; not much help, unfortunately. The street behind them is tiled in the same sort of pattern as R/Y, so they're probably wandering around Catania.

Since Eric and Jeremy are still wearing light jackets when they seem to be searching for a clue at the Roman Amphitheatre in the Piazzo Stesicoro in Catania, I would surmise that it is shortly after sunrise when the temperatures even in November are still bearable (note how everyone is striped down to tank tops, etc. in the Mercato della Pescheria and in Siracusa. 

I will make a wild guess and say that the teams are given a clue at the Temple of Segesta (pit stop) that they are to drive to the airport in Trapani and sign up for a charter flight to Catania on ApliEagles (a charter airline group)  Flights might leave as early as 6:30AM (sunrise) which would get them to Catania airport where they have to pick up cars again and locate the Roman Amphiteatre in Piazzo Stesicoro for their next clue.  This clue would send them to the Mercato della Pescheria which is located on Via Garbaldi near the
