Help! What do you mean by MoJo's sunset. The shot of Joe sitting is a lot earlier than your sunset shot.

Also, there could be a statue between sitting Joe and the end of the seats. The shot was taken from within that entrance and so the left wall of the entrance is blocking view of the walkway to Joe's left.

Okay, I see now. The shot with Monica at the statue has that sunline. I will see what I can do. Maybe Monica had just started when the sitting Joe shot was made. Light turns to dark very fast near sunset. If she takes 30 min or more to do it then that would explain the light diferences.

About the FF. Now i dont know about AR5 but Every FF has been said in like a preview [like a written one] i know for a fact the two in Ar6 were aluded to, so were Ray and Deana's and UJ FF, and In Family it was also said in a preview. So i dont know why i wouldnt have been said now.

Question: Who do you think is first at the Laundry Double Dees or Lake and Michelle[i mean first between the two] because both are shown doing a balcony alone, when they were seen doing it together?

My Guess is LM are first being Lake asks them a question like having fun yet, witch i thinks hints he was there for a while before them.

Also wouldnt be surprised if the Double Dees get on a later flight [not much later] and catch up because of this detour. Because i think the Dees arrived VERY VERY late maybe even around midnight[i dont know that late but] Phil mentioned in his blog how when teams arrived very late it messes up the race timing[now this could have applied to the prob they had in Russia] but i felt i was more toward the lingering teams of DD and WD.

Here you go; everybody (including the racers) keyed on a Santa image, but my first thought was that the producers went out of their way to find someone who looked like the gnome.

I found an interesting thing about this picture. From Banzai's racer placements in the amphitheater, cross-checked with the tourista photo (thanks Sups) the line from Dave to Lori has an azimuth of 86 degrees (oh yeah, also using Google Earth). That is also the Moon’s azimuth. Now the Moon had that azimuth at 5:38 pm on November 14th and its altitude was 19.1 degrees. If we use November 15th as the date then we have to wait until 7:04 pm to get the 86 degree azimuth. And its altitude would be 28.9 degrees.

If you ask me the Moon looks much more like it is 19.1 degrees high than 28.9 degrees high. That confirms the date (to me at least) to be November 14th. So…

With this picture, I was stumped until I looked at Sups tourista photo and saw that there is a chunk of the wall missing from the back of the amphitheater in the vicinity of the entrance that we have designated as the one used by the teams. That is how the sun got to shine on the eastern edge of the seats. Right through that opening. That gives an anzimuth of 244 degrees. That’s all I needed:

This picture was taken between 4:30 and 4:43 pm (assumes November 14th, 2005).
