But when in Russia would they have the time to stop for interviews?? They already have the clue sending them to Germany. E/J arrived at the pit stop and never stayed there. They were racing all the time in Russia.

Are we SURE that Eric and Jeremy receive a clue from Phil sending them to Germany?  If they do,(its only 4:30PM now) they would be a day ahead of the others since they and perhaps Lake and Michelle would have time to get to the airport to catch the 7:00PM flight to Frankfurt.

BUT they may be receiving a clue that takes them somewhere in Moscow first (i. e. the Puskin Museum of Fine Art, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer, or the World War (The Great Patriotic War) Memorial, or just on a Moscow Subway ride.)  At the end of which they might get the clue to go either to the Airport or somewhere else to wait until dawn to do the task.

Just many more possiblities rather than getting a clue at St. Basil's to fly on to Germany.

Also ponder this:  if the teams go to (via DB ICE??)Stuttgart first for the MB test ride, then drive someqhere (small German village perhaps) to find the Travelocity gnome, (ROADBLOCK)  then drive southeast to Munich on the Autobahn the sun which is in the driver's faces or on their left is in the wrong place. In Munich it looks like we have a DETOUR at the Bavarian Film Studios: Bash the bottles, or dance the Schuhplatter. The teams must carry the gnome with them from the Roadblock to Munich (we see Ray with the gnome behind him as he dresses in his lederhausen at the film studio.)

That pix of the ICE-T at the Stuttgart station looks damn close to a match!!  The building in the background looks very similar in each pix. And by the way these trains can get up to 300KPH which is about 180miles per hour.

We have estimated times for the train to arrive from Frankfurt as early as 11:08 (if they made the 7:00 LH flight from Moscow) Take taxi to MB headquarters in Untertuerkheim and then test drive.

Then on into the country on the autobahn. finding an exit for a country secondary road (Wanda misses it!) Check out vidpix number 49 which shows a nice two lane country road (not an autobahn) leading to a picturesque village in the distance. This may be site of Roadblock; "find the Travelocity gnome".

Teams then continue on to Munich.

Kris and Jon did not have any storyline and got pretty far. They were almost invisible, just as Dave/Lori.

And they only used that voice-over about Des being the one that calms her mom because she would do that later in the episode.

Kris and Jon are like the only team[ would be the "few" that i said others can be like Blake and Paige, Brandon and Nicole, Dave and Jeff, JV And Jill[if 5th place is far] and THATS realy it i draw the line at 5th place because 6th place [asdie from Jon and Vic, 9 legs] get eliminated around the halfway mark]

So there you go...Blake/Paige, Brandon/Nicole and Dave/Jeff were all just kinda there and they made to Final 3. John Vito and Jill is another good example (and yeah I think 5th place is far). I think it's pretty possible that Dave/Lori make to 5th place without getting much storyline or screentime. I mean, look at Mo-Jo. No screentime but somehow they scream final 4. Like you said, it wouldn't be the first time.

The hotel we’re staying at has this incredible view of the restaurant. Wish I could see it from my room, too…instead I can see and hear a dozen Russian made air condition units…looks like my airplane earplugs will be coming in handy tonight. Right next to the hotel is an Olympic clothing store,

You're completely right GMan. They will probably do one more task before Germany (Is the Hermitage in Moscow?). Maybe they need to sleep that night in Russia and that's when they make the interviews that never0102 is refering to.

Yes, the autobahn is like the Interstate in the US - exits are far between; miss one and you may drive many klicks out of the way before you can reverse and come back to where you want to turn off.

The Hermitage is in St. Petersburg - TAR's been there, done that, bought the Tee shirt.( TAR 5)

Note that the curb stone (on the edge of the platform) and white line are the same in the file pix and on our vidcap (and again when we see double dees walking by train.  Looks like they are getting off the train, but strange no other teams are spotted here; are they ahead or behind the others?)

This scenario makes a lot of sense, given the Stuttgart train station spoiler.  Now about that ROADBLOCK task.  We know what they do in Stuttgart (test track @ MB) and what they do in Munich (Bavaria Film Studio detours), so what does that leave between Stuttgart and Munich besides a long drive?

How about LEGOLAND.  Given this leg has pretty silly tasks (smashing bottles, dancing, driving, etc.), maybe Legoland near the town of Ulm (halfway between Stuttgart and Munich) isn't such a stretch.  Too bad we have no vidcaps to back this up.  That's my 2 cents.

I remember hearing something about someone picking up a package at Lego-Land California for the Amazing Race Boingo ! LOL imagine the teams trying to find a Gnome amongst some big pile of Legos  , its a great idea and something I'm off to look into .

For what it's worth, I saw a guy stating he was from TAR, picking up a package at Legoland Guest services last weekend. Legoland is about 20 miles north of San Diego.

He was a crew member. He said, "I'm here to pick up the packet for the Amazing Race". The guest services girl handed him a thick envelope. I was standing to the side with my fussy toddler. He probably didn't think I could hear the exchange. But, I did. I don't know what else to tell you

Guys, is it too soon for a fast foward? In TAR6 and TAR7, there were fast fowards hidden in the second part of the TBC episodes. Maybe the same will happen in this race.
