No way can the scene be shot at 4:25AM IT WOULD BE PITCH BLACK AT THAT HOUR since the sun does not rise until 7:59AM.

My guess is that it is actually 4:25PM. Note the number of people ("tourists") wandering around behind Eric and Jeremy; I don't think we would see that many people up and around at 4:25AM. The teams probably arrive in Moscow around noon after 15 hours of flying through 7 time zones and would be completely zonked out. So my guess is that TPTB may give them a 24 HOUR REST STOP. So if they finished their tasks at 4:25PM they would be starting off the next day at 4:25PM. The sun is setting not rising.

It's odd that none of these shots of the dolls show empty space on the tables. I would think that they would have to clear a lot of dolls off by the time they find the red one. (Just kidding about the red one but there must be something small they are looking for.)

Maybe all the shots happen close in time and several teams have arrived to start looking in different places around the tables. Do we have any team overlaps here?

The Wanda and Michelle photo is from the beginning of leg 2. The stadium is behind them.

The first cap--"unknown"--is somewhere on the Novodevichy grounds. If you run the video forward frame-by-frame, you first see a (probably zoomed) shot of Smolensky with the larger Kolokolnaya tower obscured or out of frame (1). Then the camerman starts to pan right and down and you see two building entrances (2)--probably the ones I've marked with arrows in the Convent photo. The last cap (3) shows a small courtyard with a backpack (can't read the tag number). I've tried to puzzle out the sightline with no luck so far. If anybody wants a better look at Novodevichy, this site has photos, a map (in Russian) and even a couple of videos.

OK, i'm bored! Decided to identify the SUV seen in the vidcaps. Assume they are in Russia, so this may be a shameless promotion of superior Russian engineering. A likely suspect could be made by UAZ.

It's called the UAZ Patriot.

It seats five, but we see at least 2 teams (plus driver, cameraman, and soundman) for a total of 7 people. My guess is that one team rides in the cargo area in the back (that's why we see their heads poking out over the seatbacks). Interesting that the camera guy is in the back seat.

Even more odd is that there are no open dolls thrown about. If you were looking for a particular doll or a clue within one you would open then throw or set aside. Look how Lake has each one open with the top and bottom side by side. And Eric/Jeremy are holding the open ones in their hands. Therefore, they must have to put the dolls back together before continuing (and maybe even put them back on the table) OR even worse -- I hope they aren't counting them!!!

In the first shot of Yolanda she looks as though she's just arrived and starting on an outside circle. She still has her jacket on and ponytail tight. Then we see her squatting or sitting at the inside of a circle with her jacket off and hair a little loose around her face. So its probably much later and there are still no empty spaces on the table or dolls on the floor.

It does look like part of the dolly task is to search but then carefully put them back together and replace them on the table. Note how orderly they are lining the dolls up. If they were just searching for a clue my guess would be that they would be throwing the parts away as they uncovered doll after doll.

No good shadows to work with but we get shot with the sun in it.

This picture was taken between 10:24 and 11:05 am (assumes November 11th).
