Good question. There was never enough resolution to read the side banner of the boat on the vidcap. Is that the Natchez or the Cotton Blossom we're looking at in the intros? As I wrote before, the Natchez and its sister ship the CB were at one time owned by the same company, and they do look very similar. More questions:
* Would the producers put two riverboats so close together in the storyline?
* (supsandalee would know this better than anybody) Would the CB be able to sail to the other side of NO to be pictured next to the CCC bridge?
* Would the producers throw in video of the Natchez, even though it wasn't used by the racers, because it's a better looking ship (I agree with Puddin, the CB looks dilapidated)?
Chateau d If:
It looks to me that the Bransens finish their Blackjack detour at about 11:10 am.

It's most definately the Natchez in the intros. It's a much larger vessel (tripple decker) and is permanently located in downtown N.O. with daily river cruises. I doubt the old Cotton Blossom could withstand the Mississippi currents.
I don't know why they would use two riverboats. I like the idea of the Natchez being the pitstop though.
Chateau d If:
I bet the paddle wheel does not even go around during the episode. They probably tug boated it into position. The interior shots show a very sad decor. Really low pressed tin ceiling. Pressed tin is good (typical of the old days) but the way it is so low shows that it was added in a cheap makeover. Good call Puddin.

OK those with good ears ..
What team does the BlackJack ..leaves to do the Lumberjack then...suggests going back to the cards ??
I'm not sure but am leaning towards the Gaghan mom .
Female?? Gaghan mom ? : do you want to go back & do the cards ?
