If it means rooting for the underdog, I'll root for Canadians. (That means they'll be the first one axed. Always happens to my personal favorites. And it sucks, too! :()

(humour? I have a Canadian friend who spells it like that.) But like puddin says, spelling doesn't matter here!  I'm a good speller, but do use lotsa shortcuts for posting & emails.  Like enuf, probly, lotsa,  B:) B:)

If Survivor was held in the United States somewhere (Survivor - Maui?), that would make the winner - wherever he or she is from - subject to United States income tax.  Income earned in the U.S. by non-residents is included in taxable income on Form 1040-NR.

I'm wondering why it would really matter to the powers-that-be at Survivor.  They're not obligated to have a U.S.-taxable winner, after all.
