From the AOL preview we see Rollo Weaver read “Drive yourselves to Washington DC. Outside the SUV you can see the same white fencing that is around the Shoehouse. This means the battle reenactment is either before shoehouse or after Washington DC. That is strange because the Shoehouse is only about 25 min from the Leg 1 pits stop.

If the roadblock / briefcases covert operation and whatever ..find something in the Reflecting Pool perhaps ?

They are probably camping again which would make Monocary/Detour the last pitstop ? just thinking out loud here ..

Puddin, I'm so sorry I missed your post yesterday about the white fence.
You were already all over it!

The battlefield aerial shot on AOL actually shows a passing vehicle on the freeway in the background. From the satellite shot you can see that it is in the right place where the freeway is.

No problem Chateau .. the more eyes to confirm the better |#' .Also your eyes are much better than mine ..for the life of me I couldn't figure out what Wally was carrying ..what I saw was a black piece of paper with photos not a briefcase

Now can you do me a favor and watch the AOL preview again.. Rolly Weaver says " Drive yourselves to ..< with lips moving > then pans to him passing the clue to his mom " ...Washington D.C " does he actually say Washington DC or is it dubbed in :coffee:

Could it be that "Drive yourselves to Washington DC" is only part of the instructions? Could the instructions tell them to first drive to Monocacy Maryland and find the clue box and then drive yourselves to Washington DC?

From the look of the shadows when the Weavers and the girl with blond hair and white hat are picking up the clue in front of the pool in front of the capitol the shadows are coming from the left. The National Mall runs almost perfectly East to West with the Capitol on the Eastern End and Lincoln Memorial to the West. From the look of the shadows they are coming from the South East or mid morning. The shadows of the two men with the briefcases (Bransen and Linz) seem to be directly under them or around 1PM EDT.

So the question is if they go first to the Shoe House and then to Monocacy would it still be mid-moring when the arrived in Washington?

So perhaps they do go directly to Washington from York; do the roadblock in Washington and then retreat to Monocacy for the reenactment and camp out?

can't trust those editors. Remember in TAR5: "It's OK to run them over!"
so they probably edit, "Drive yourself to Washington D.C."

in this scene we see a red roadblock clue and a brief case.

in the next scene, empty handed. It's just another case of cut & paste.

When I first saw the flag frames, I thought the flag was torn (and all-blue). But it turns out many cavalry units adopted a "swallowtail" design because the full-size flag was a hassle to move around. Source

I got this very clearly on my DVR. It is just water coming out of a tap. They are shown filling a tin cup. Then the pour that into something else that is a few inches away. Or maybe they were just pouring it out of the cup. In part of the clip you see them with 50 to 100 of these tin cups set out in the grass.
