Okay, take off your work gloves and start hunting for cabin shots of Air Jamaican and trans-Altlantic American Airlines planes.

Flight attendants too!

Air Jamaica

Air Jamaica operates a new Airbus A340-300 aircraft from London Heathrow to Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica. All flights are non-smoking. Air Jamaica London to Montego Bay are the included airline and route in our basic holiday prices for all Jamaican hotels on our website except Strawberry Hill for which we have included British Airways London to Kingston

Female Air Jamaica flight attendants and employees wear brightly colored blouses: Flight attendant and staff person. I haven't found a picture of a male flight attendant yet.

American Airlines flight attendants and employees wear white shirts and either navy or red blazers. Sometimes they have navy or red ties, and sometimes the women wear navy dresses. Tiny image at top of this page: American Airlines careers page, and another from Getty images: American Airlines memorial event for 9/11.

Based on this, I think the picture of Rob and Amber on the plane is from American Airlines.

Also, Air Jamaica doesn't seem to fly to Puerto Rico, but you can fly AJ from London to Jamaica: Air Jamaica routes.

Based on that, the shot is either from the flight from London to Jamaica or from Puerto Rico to the states, but not from Jamaica to PR.

Sorry I don't know how to paste the images in directly!

Chateau, here is Raceygirls answer about the rain in Puerto Rico on the 18th:

"Nope, clear skies all around. Hot, humid Puerto Rico."

I found this shot of a British Airways stewardess uniform. http://www.bamuseum.com/90-present.html (scroll down)

I don't know if they actually wear those or not, never having been on a BA flight.

Since the flights from London to Jamaiica are either BA on 744's (have the 2 4 2 configuration) or on AA on 777's (2 5 2) configuration, that would have to be a BA flight from London to Jamaica if that's what it was. But that looks like an AA attendant. So, I think we can say that is a PR to Miami flight. Also R&A are wearing the exact same clothes as we seen them in the PR airport.

So, it looks like U&J have trouble at both the PR and Jamaican airport. I say the Jamaican flight they make it (by the skin of their teeth) but the PR flight they do not. There is that spoiler saying R&K are on a flight with no other teams from PR to Miami.

AMBER jumping from what...the bridge..

http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/cgi-bin/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=1137&forum=DCForumID37&omm=70

those are some of the vid caps

we can conclude that amber has no problem with the limboing road block.
So i guess both the last roadblocks amber will have no problem with doing.

OK so now we know this:

PriorWalter said amber rocks at the road blocks.

The first one is amber jumping off a bridge. That isn't to hard, she can EASLIY do that, then probably swimming back to shore is what exhaustes her.

The second roadblock looks like limbo. Amber is probably really good at that because i think she had to limbo on survivor one time.

The weather was Ok around the time she got there.  A clear day in Puerto Rico is different than a clearday in Texas.  It would have been nice for her info to match up with the web site, but...

The clear day also didn't match up with the day before or day after.

Great work on all the flight attendant uniforms.

Those BA stewardess remind me of Mary Poppins.
And Jettrue, I think the BA 744 has 3-4-3 seating in the main portion of the economy class.

It’s pretty clear from the recent info that the RA clip is not on an Air Jamaica aircraft.

About Rob and Amber’s clothes, they are perfect matches to ones they are seen in in the San Juan airport when they are running toward the area with the sign “Boarding Passes Only”.  You can even see Rob has a yellow shirt under the red one in both clips.

Keoghan: Seventh 'Amazing Race' the best
Saturday, February 26 2005, 16:53 GMT -- by Daniel Kilkelly

The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan has told viewers to expect a fantastic seventh season of the show.

The new season will see former Survivor contestants Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich competing as a team. The pair met during the Survivor All-Stars competition, which Brkich went on to win, and have since become engaged.

However, Keoghan has warned viewers not to automatically assume that they will win the show's $1 million prize.

Keoghan told Zap2it, "A lot of time on Survivor is spent sitting down and working out what you are going to do. There's no time to contemplate like that in The Amazing Race, where you have to make decisions in the moment, on the fly, very, very quickly.

"To me, this is actually the very antithesis of their experience on Survivor, so viewers will see them reacting to a completely different experience here."

He added, "I know I said this before about race five, but I honestly believe number seven is the best race that we have ever had.

"That has a lot to do with the teams we have, and I can assure you that the show has moved back to its roots in terms of the things that made people fall in love with this show in the first place."

The weird thing is , i think the rafting/jumping/limbo-ing all happens in 1 day because Rob and Amber are both wearing the same clothes they are seen wearing on the raft, and amber is in a bathing suit after she jumps, but you see rob holding her other clothes, and it is the black and red and white jump suit thingy.

Maybe the rafting is one part of a detour, and Uchenna and Joyce are doing the other option, which is something to do with gathering bauxite to form alumina. Not as crazy as it sounds. This site shows a diagram for how bauxite rocks are processed into alumina, which then makes aluminum. Maybe they have to fill a certain quota?

page with a map of Jamaica showing bauxite mining locations.

Alcoa does business in Jamaica, and <a href="http://www.alcoa.com/global/en/about_alcoa/dirt.asp>this page and linked video[/url] show how alumina is made.

FWIW, I arrived to San Juan on Dec 18 2004 @ noon for my Christmas holiday. It wasn't raining. It was hot and humid. It didn't rain during the rest of the day. I remember that the road was wet when we left the airport and my mother told me there had been light rain in the morning. Perhaps it rained harder in other parts of the island that day (per the weather report posted in this thread), but at least in the metro area there was light rain in the morning and the rest of the day was pretty clear.
