The White House has announced that tonight's Presidential press conference will
now begin at 8:00pm cnyt/5:00pm cpt.
As previously advised, CBS will carry the President’s press conference live on
the CBS Digital HD Television Network, the CBS Radio news network, and streamed
on CBSNews.com.
In addition, live coverage of tonight's Presidential press conference will be
available on CBS Newspath via transponder IA6/3C (digital ku) for excerpting
purposes into your local news. Please check spacemail for details.
ATTENTION HD BROADCAST STATIONS ON THE NEW YORK ORIGINATION:
The President's press conference will be fed live beginning at 8:00pm cnyt via
the regular New York Origination HD Network transponder: IA6/C19 (4080V).
Following the conclusion of the press conference and depending on time,
SURVIVOR: PALAU or CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION will be joined in progress on
the HD Network.

ATTENTION HD BROADCAST STATIONS ON THE PACIFIC NETWORK:
The President's press conference will be fed live beginning at 5:00pm cpt via
the regular West Coast HD Network transponder: IA6/C21 (4120V).
The CBS HD prime time schedule will be fed in its entirety as normal.

Attention all HD Broadcast Stations, following are special notes regarding HD
distribution of tonight’s Presidential news conference:
The video will be an up-converted image. The audio will be in 2-channel
stereo. There will be no closed caption feed.
If your station is equipped for 5.1 surround sound and requires manual
selection of pre-sets be sure to do so.
If your station bridges closed captioning information from your SD network
signal, be sure to disable the bridge.
If your station automatically inserts local commercials into network HD, be
sure to disable HD interruptions.
Please make sure your Master Control, Operations and News personnel are aware
of the above.
