Phil: Santiago, capital of Chile, at the Andes foothills. Santa Lucia was the 2nd pitstop. Mandatory rest period, yadda, yadda.

Can Uchenna/Joyce maintain their momentum?
Can Susan/Patrick jump back to the front of the pack?

12: 34 am. Rob/Amber, CLUE: Drive yourselves to Argentina through the Andes.

Phil: They'll drive through Puente Viejo for their next clue.

Ron/Kelly, 1:24 am.
In his confessional, Ron expresses cold feet about marrying Kelly.

2:17 a.m., Ray/Deana.
She's "sick of" him. He doesn't want to make "dumb mistakes." Meh.

Uchenna/Joyce, 3:16 a.m.
Close on their tails (I know, I know) are Lynn/Alex, 3:19 am, and Debbie/Bianca, 3:20 am.

Meredith/Gretchen, 3:24 am.
G: Does it say TAXI on it!?
G conf: Meredith understands me now. I make it up to him in the long run.

Susan/Patrick, 3:35 am.
Susan conf: I want him to be happy. He needs a boyfriend.
P: She wants him to keep track of me like she wants to keep track of me.

Last place, Brian and Doofus.

puddin:
Rob/Amber discover that rides are only available at 5 am.
The Carpark is locked at night, so they can't get a vehicle.
They decide to kill time in a hotel lobby.

Ray, dolt that he is, notices that the joint is locked.
Surprise!

Debbie/Bianca note that the Carpark is locked.
Well ... ??

One by one, the teams reveal their brilliance.
"It's locked!"
Rob/Amber fell asleep ...
Rob: "Cuantos te pega?
Man: Cuatro.
They steal another teams' cab.
Rob: That'll teach 'em to call me a liar.

Daybreak beckons, and the carpark is open.
Rob driving, Amber in the rear navigating.
Rob gets a police escort!
Rob: Can you drive? Show me?
He obliges.

Everyone grabs a vehicle and hauls it.
Meredith/Gretchen sneak into second.
Brian/Greg sneak into fourth.
Uchenna/Joyce fall back into 6th.
Ray/Deana lagging in 7th.
Susan/Patrick 8th, seem lost.
Debbie/Bianca, last.

puddin:




Rob drinks something from a brownish bottle.
He takes the "Los Andes / Portillo" exit with Lynn/Alex hot on his tail.
(Okay, I promise not to do it forever!)
All teams taking the same exit.
Ray/Deana catching up.
"Cinco Norte" and Debbie/Bianca "passed some kind of exit or something. We're just freaking out."

Rob knows where he's going, snaking up the Andes.
Amber: There's Yield coming. The other teams got it out for us.
Lynn: Let's see if people have the juevos to do it.

Meredith, huffing and puffing: This elevation is ferocious!
Gretchen: I'm sick!
Mer: I gotta concentrate on the road.
Gretch: And contend with me!  (%#
Mer: On a full time basis.

puddin:
wow 16 minutes into the show already..
looks like we have 2 lost teams ..D/B and P/Mom

cont...
Rob/Amber see a "no left" sign and can't figure a way around it.

Susan/Patrick seem lost.
Susan looks forlorn.
Patrick, in the back, laments being at the back of the pack.
