They see the AL NORTE sign.
Patrick: Couldn't be any bigger.

Nobody has crossed into Argentina yet.
Debbie/Bianca driver: they're all stupid
Other heffa in the back seat: not that we're that much better

Everyone gawks at the scenery. It's (of course) a narrow 2 lane passageway.

Sign: PUENTE VIEJO.
Rob: ****! I saw the route marker! On the bridge!
Phil: Any team can cause another team to YIELD. Only one use of the YIELD per race. Hourglass, yadda yadda

Rob: We choose not to yield.

CLUE: DETOUR.
Paddle, or Pedal?
Phil: Paddle, take an inflatable raft, with 3 professional rowers, take a 7 mile course down a twisty river. The current will move you.
Pedal, follow a 7 mile course along train tracks in a rocky course. Teams with strong legs could finish quickly.

alex & Lynn finish the detour first ..Romber second

Lynn/Alex, don't yield anybody, 2nd.
Rob/Amber choose to Paddle.
The current is choppy and strong.
Paddling in a heavy jacket, Amber: I'm dying!

Meredith: they're right on our tail!
Brian: We're right on their tail. 80 km/h
The two teams get out together, with B/G taking over 3d and M/G in 4th.
Neither team YIELDS anyone.
Brian/Greg choose to Pedal.
Meredith/Gretchen choose
Amber: Ugh! Ugh!
Lynn/Alex see Romber struggling.
Alex: I hate them so much! Lynn was saying 'we have to beat the Survivors'!!
Rob: Come on! One! Two!!
Lynn Alex take a two boat lead on them and laugh.

Lynn/Alex, CLUE: Drive yourselves to the city of Mendoza.
Phil: At Camping Suizo they'll find their next clue.
Rob/Amber 2nd.
They get inserted post-leg confessionals which look suspiciously like post-elimination confessionals.
Susan: Wow! Look at the ocean! The key to the clue was "Go Through The ANDES."

Whodahell knows where Susan is driving. 

Debbie/Bianca get directions, and find out they are off course by ...
Woman: Dos horas.
Debbie: Two hours??
Bianca: This is hell, this is hell.

Meanwhile, Brian rides up a hill.
FLAT TIRE.

Greg: We can pump it up but it'll take forever. There's Gretchen/Meredith peddling away.

Brian/Greg walk the bikes along the railroad track.

Ron/Kelly take 3rd
Meredith/Gretchen 4th
ANd both get the CLUE to Mendoza.

Brian/Greg now carrying the dead bike.
Uchenna/Joyce finish rafting in 5th.
J: My nails! (Apparently broken)
U: You're one hot chick out there in whitewater rafting!

Ray: I'm in great shape. I dunno if they were Olympic rowers, or what.

Mom and Son decide not to YIELD anyone.
