Episode 3 "Do You Need Mouth to Mouth Resuscitation?"
Texan:
remeber that Rob could not eat the gross food on his seaseon fo Survivor. His I am doen maybe out of contect...she is looking at Amber and she has a stern look..But hsi I'm Done could be when he actually finishes. If the gross food is that bad, I have a hard time with P/S completing this after they are lost.
So it looks like the detour is either bikes ro rafts.... we know the brothers choose bikes. Which is going to be easier... i can see the brothers trying to get ahead by taking bikes.
gingerman28:
If as it looks that the DETOUR is either RAFTS or BIKES, then once again the gross food challenge is the ROADBLOCK. We had the Caviar in St. Petersburg in TAR5 and the Hot Fish Soup in Budapest in TAR6. I guess we have to have at least one Gross Food Challenge in every race now. And if Rob had trouble with such even in Survivor why in the world would he want to do this one now?
Texan:
They may not know what the challenge is at the time. Or maybe he is being a gentleman and saying no sweetie I do not want you to eat gross food. Or simply Amber did the last one so he choose to do this one.
Are they still in Chille during the gross food? IF so any idea on what the food could be? Keep in mind Tar 5 was not so much gross food, it was the amount of food that made it gross.
rmax:
I would guess from the previews that Susan/Patrick, Greg/Brian, and Romber all survive to run Leg 4.
Pedaler:
--- Quote ---In the insider video Phil says that he has just eliminated Megan and Heidi and now they are going to the next pit stop which is in another country. I think they were driving there because they had so much time since the teams finished the leg so quickly.
--- End quote ---
Traegan, They were going to try to make a flight instead of driving. My guess is that they will try to make a 5pm flight to Mendoza,Argentina. Otherwise they would have to drive 5 to 6 hours going through here http://www.ihana.com/big_trip/diary/2003/04/apr2003_3.htm
Also if you look at the pictures in the link, it has some features of some of the vidcaps. There is a large switchback. There is an abandoned rail line. There is Mt. Aconcagua in the background (nice fact: Aconcaqua is the tallest peak in the world outside of the Himalayas). I think if someone googles for photos of Mt. Aconcagua they will find a match for one of the vidcaps.
My guess is that all racers do the whitewater rafting in Chile, the detour is hike or bike up in the Andes, and the roadblock is the eating task.
