Imagine if they pair The Road with Survivor 49 instead of TAR38  (totally expecting CBS to actually do this)

Surely wise heads will prevail and CBS'll announce TAR38 to air in the fall (as Phil has already said) and then TAR39 to air in the spring

What's everybody else's thoughts?

I don't get why everyone is saying 'they're learning.' It's still just one season in the broadcast season and they are trying yet again to find a new reality show to replace it with, this time in the spring. We won't see season 39 until at least summer 2026 but more likely fall 2026.

Because it seems to be an annual pattern at this point, and they always end up failing after one season anyway.

What's going to be next year's random reality nonstarter? "Head Over Heels", a show where they look for love while playing the entire game on the ceiling? (I made that up, lol, but anything seems possible nowadays)
