Thanks for the post. But as far as I know:

Casting is now YEAR AROUND.

Dates for 38 are not yet confirmed as far as I know. There was consideration for November but that is obviously off, and dates have not been confirmed to the best of my knowledge. My best GUESS right now is spring-ish.

Jesse did make a post awhile back but as far as I know any date was not confirmed.

Let's stand by for more info!

Thank you for letting us know! I want to apply, but I would only be able to participate if it's summer filming. Ever since Jesse posted it, I have checking the casting website for filming and call back dates.

Also can confirm #TAR38 will feature Big Brother alum + loved one teams. Starting hearing rumors in the fall. A lot of players were contacted, some of whom are under contract by other networks and had to decline. Some declined for other reasons ($$). Casting finals just happened in L.A. The teams competing will be finalized any day now. Filming starts in March.

Dr. Will (BB2/7/DONDI 2) did an interview with RHAP last weekend and mentioned a couple times that TAR was bringing back reality contestants soon, so it all tracks.

If it airs in the fall, hopefully they will film 39 in the fall and we get that next spring or summer. They are currently casting for that so that should be normal people. Then season 40 can be one final all-stars or maybe the elusive all-winners season. I personally can't see the show going much past season 40.

Just my opinion. TV economics have changed. The show isn't owned by CBS so it isn't very profitable with dwindling ratings. Reality shows are really getting hit hard recently. Bertram is 85 years old. I just feel like we're winding down the last few years here. 40 is a nice number to aim for. Maybe I'll be wrong.

People have worried about the ending of the show online since Season 3.  I wouldn't worry until they announce it's done.  I thought Australia wouldn't come back this year; they announced the next one last week.

I feel the opposite.  Ratings turn out hand-over-fist for CBS' reality-star-heavy shows like 'The Traitors' and 'The Challenge'.  If this pulls people in, then I'm all for it.  It's very likely a vocal minority who don't care, outright for BB players.  I'd wager most don't know them at all.

While I would much rather have an all-newbie or all-star season, if they cast this right, it could be good. When I first heard the news, I was a little upset, but it is nice that it will not be teams of BB players (only one BB player per team).

Angela (BB26) is a must! Please, please, please let her get cast!

I think they should take both Bigbrother and Survivor players. TAR 31 was a great season, but the return TAR racers, just had the edge, because they played before.
