After the Survivor premiere, which finishes in 1 hour and 25 minutes from now, TAR will be on the air!

Beware, as the premiere episode is already available in the wild, do not spoil it for those watching during the east coast live broadcast.

The Hollywood Sign is celebrating its 100th anniversary! Originally built as a billboard, it's now a monument of L.A.'s landscape. All teams casually jogging in. Ashlie & Todd are the first confessionals followed by Andrea & Malaina talking about their competitive spirits. Morgan & Lena say they have a tendency to fight, but also strive to love.

Phil introduces the Sign and the premise of the show. He does an icebreaker starting with Rob & Corey. Rob wants to hear Phil say he wants him to say he is #1. Joel & Garrett say they left their wives at home for the race. Joe & Ian are testing their communication skills. Victor & Jocelyn, Eliza & Iliana, Alex & Sheridan, and Liam & Yeremi are speaking next.

Phil says EVERY leg is an elimination leg. No more safety. Greg & John are worried.

And we come back from the commercial break! Downtown L.A. is to the left of us - Joe & Ian need "real directions". They have been dating for a little over 5 years and are total opposites of each other. Alex & Sheridan are trying to get directions. They spin in a circle and find a random stranger. Rob & Corey and Steve & Anna crowd around him too.

Corey would always be the backseat assistant. He is a CODA and Rob is determined to win. Rob has been waiting for years and years. Andrea & Malaina talk in the car ride about how Malaina's memory is shot. They have been college best friends and are goofy and bubbly. "I said 110 and you said 101."

Alex & Sheridan share the same apartment and work at the same consulting firm. They are pretty much twins at heart.

Elizabeth & Iliana get on the highway and share Ili is Eliza's firstborn. They butt heads and get along. Lovely duo!

One team member must cross a tightroe and unscramble the correct phrase to receive their next clue from Derek & Claire. Two flights, first departs 90 minutes ahead of the second flight.

The voting U-turn is my least favorite twist in TAR franchise history so I’m pissed

Edit: to clarify, I am a strict believer that teams that finish behind you or are currently behind you should not be able to hinder your game
