Not really surprised Elizabeth & Iliana are the first or second boot. Their CBS bio to me screams "gets flustered at the first physical task", they joke about Rachel Reilly then say patience is their weakness.

What does surprise me is that Iliana is so hyped for the show. She's been one of the cast members promoting it the most on social media

A few early boots in past seasons tended to do that. They make the most out of their time before everyone forgets about them

I saw a preview on the Amazing Race subreddit in which CBS offers either confirmation of our suspicions or new information entirely, including spoilers that relate to deep in the season:


Confirmation that Andrea & Malaina survive Vietnam and make it to Jaipur


Confirmation of the task at Planica, Slovenia-- some type of indoor skiing task, which supports the article published during filming.


This task looks like Europe, but I can't be certain-- it seems to be performance-based, perhaps reminiscent of a nightclub?

At first glance they look like Tünnes and Schäl, folklore puppet characters in Cologne; but the statues don't exactly match.

It looks like the statues are supposed to be of them but not that specific statue/location. But it does narrow it down to likely be somewhere in Cologne

Edit: I think I might've found the door at the Hänneschen-Theater in Cologne.

If we must have an all-male F3, at least Joe & Ian aren't part of it. They feel the most "alpha", not counting Liam & Yeremi since we already know they go out about a mid-season.

Give it a few days. Once the cast all start talking about their experience to social media and the press, maybe whoever that happened to will bring it up.

From the first scene of the episode, it seems our leg 4 is Ho Chi Minh (or around) because in the graphic it shows a plane leaving Ho Chi Minh for Jaipur (and then Cologne).

The U-Turn is in Jaipur! I think it makes sense that one leg takes place in the hills around Amer (perhaps the leg with the rappelling and teams riding in to Amer Fort on elephants; although if the pot-balancing Roadblock took place inside the fort then I'm not sure if we'd see a second Roadblock in the same leg) and another takes place in the city of Jaipur, with a task relating to flower garlands and cycling (see the next screencap).
I am not surprised that either Joe & Ian or Liam & Yeremi are likely victims of the U-Turn.

WOW! I can’t believe that Jocelyn & Victor are gonna go from back-to-back wins to out in 11th place. I wonder what happens. Flight delayed/canceled?

I'm not going to lie. Victor & Jocelyn are a very fit and strong team. But I can't believe that they got their downfall in Vietnam. What went wrong? 

Also, the placements where they finished in both Legs 1 & 2 are the same except Joe & Ian and Joel & Garrett. Funny how they swapped their finishes in Leg 2.

Is there a possiblity that germany leg is a mega leg one in cologne and rudesheik amd rhein making this season 13 episodes?

Assuming a 'normal' Survivor season, Survivor 45's three hour finale will likely be December 20, so TAR would need to end by that point. 12 episodes leads to a finale date of December 13, while 13 eps means TAR (or Survivor) would have to take a week off right before the final, killing any excitement for it.

It's possible though they could fill tasks in both Rudeshem and Cologne within a single 90 minute episode, especially since there will be fewer teams by that point.

In a press pic, phil handled and gave the clues at the pit stop. It's very likely a KOR leg. now whether the KOR leg also eliminating a team ala TAR 32 is remain to be seen

If half the episode is dedicated to airport drama only to have it all not really matter because of an equalizer/hours of operation, it really IS return to old school race hahaha

I just don’t know how we’re gonna get to 13 episodes if a team is still eliminated despite the KOR. On the other hand, doesn’t that technically break the no NEL rule?
