If my theory is right, then I think they were filming the ticket counter in order to show the audience that the charter flight is gone and possibly bc teams were on different flights with first come first serve and then possibly they turned off the cameras after (or as they went through TSA).
As for the colorful clothes thing, I don't think I personally would think much of it unless I saw cameras around them. Again, just speculation. The episodes could air and prove me wrong or maybe we'll even get an airport sighting at some point before the season ends that would prove me wrong. I hope I'm wrong.

So if there were already 2 Germany legs, are we thinking the 2 different sightings in Cologne and Rudeshein am Rhein were the 2 different legs or was 1 leg filmed the day before?
I was actually excited at the idea of the Germany leg being long with a long drive and tasks in different cities :(
