Also this is at least a diverse F3 on paper, 2 guys in their 40s, 2 young black guys, a deaf guy (which, disabled people are severely underreped on tar) and i'd say Garrett & Joel and Rob & Corey seem like surprising finalists on paper, gender diversity is important, but every form of diversity should be celebrated

This. I'd be more upset if it were 3 teams of alpha males. But they might actually be cool.

I surely hope they are much better than Tar 9's F3.
At least that F3 had at least one woman in it.

If this is going to be 90 minutes with only 3 teams I'd imagine a long leg, just like Dublin seemed very long
As much as I love TAR, a 90-minute final three episode with minimal tasks and placement changes sounds like my nightmare  :groan:

That's my biggest pet peeve with TARAUS. Sometimes when the tasks are boring and the legs are linear, it feels like the episode just will not end...
Love, an unapologetic Lisa & Michelle stan

I'm extremely happy with Seattle being our finale location and even more delighted with a night leg! Seattle is overdue for another visit and I believe night legs are some of the best legs we have ever seen on TAR!

This route gets much better once they hit Europe! And as for the boot order, I will wait to see the individual team personalities before I make my judgement on whether I can complain about the actual boot order  :funny:

I'm getting excited to see the season! Can September hurry up already???  :funny:
I agere could have been epic with Boston though, I only hope the finishline is not gaswork park!
Love The Amazing Race, The Apprentice and Survivor.

SEATTLE!

Only 2 visits in the past (S3 finish line in the 2nd half of the leg and S10 starting line)

Let's hope Gas Works Park isn't visited. lol

a member of one of the most underrepresented groups (disabled racers) is in the final 3! I support race, gender and sexuality diversity but this should also be noted!!!!

Since Margie & Luke of S.14.

 :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

i too, would rather not have an all male final 3 but all forms of diversity should be celebrated!

and it's reversed, since it is the parent that is disabled. I am happy that TAR casted them. It shows, that they can do the Race.

Honestly I like the first half of the route. I always really like Thailand, excited for new city of Can Tho, and I always like the desert/semi-arid areas of India

My only preference would have been to visit a fourth country in Asia within the first six legs. If they had just popped down to Malaysia or Singapore for one of the double legs, frankly, it would be a superb route. Instead, it is very good, but not quite great. I have no doubt we are in for a great season though.

Also - the second leg in Thailand is outside Bangkok. It will be in the Nakhon Pathom province about an hour west of the capital. So technically that is a new area visited also.

I am thrilled with casting - finally we have age diversity and physicality of all 'shapes and sizes' again after the 20s had quite generic casting. As for the three MM potentially in final four, I don't mind it given who the MM teams are, but I would say that I hope WRP/CBS recognises that 37 should have more FF teams than MM. It hardly ever happens and I don't understand why. Ideally, I'd love to see 5 FF, 5 MF, 3 MM next season.

My only take on the route, is the 1st six legs could have been better IMO, while I like the revisit to Southeast Asia in a long time felt really long. it was 2018, It could have been different. Sure, we got iconic moments from Thailand, Vietnam, India over the years. They could have gone to an unvisited location in those countries or better an underused country or even better, a new country. I would swap out x2 Thailand Legs for South Korea (Seoul & Busan), the x2 Vietnam Legs for Laos (Vientiane) and Maldives (a tropical island) and the x2 India Legs for Nepal x2. It's something minor from me since I do want the Race to best as it could be.

On the bright side at least we're getting a new city in Vietnam and seeing another part of India that's like a time capsule.

Once they touched Europe it was chef's kiss. Germany's overused, but this ain't Munich, Berlin. This is Cologne, a new city. Then came the Slovenian Legs, a brand new country that should have been visited a long time ago, it's literally there. A revisit to Sweden, we can finally get a proper Stockholm Leg. At long last capping off with a much-long awaited visit to Ireland. 24 Seasons later and it's a new city. Dublin.

TAR Israel did one of the best routes this year and I think TAR US also did. If it was South Korea x2 - Laos - Maldives - Nepal x2 (or they can throw in like Malaysia, Singapore, Qatar, Oman) + the remaining Europe Legs. We got a stunner of a route.

I remember reaching out to a producer a few years back to visit even more, expand to even more locations.
A simple request to visit new countries, revisit underused countries (especially one-time visits). As a hardcore fan I'm happy.
I believe they listened and I'm sure I'm not the only one who emailed them requesting the same.

I would add Chile to the list as well since it hadn’t been visited since S23.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a Seattle finish!  I feel like it’s the most overdue finale city.

Last night I came up with a funny nickname for this season:

The Amazing Race 36: What are they doing? (It’s because there are barely any task and location sightings for many legs)
I just think the number 92 is cool

Would this be a possible finish line? It IS secluded and immediately off a freeway.

Oh... *facepalm* I'm headed to Seattle next month. They couldn't run this season when I'm going, rather than night film in July?

I’m impressed that a team in their bio interview made a season 4 reference and knew it was “dating 12 years/virgins” (got the number correct too)

I've said something to this extent before on this thread, but I am finding myself revisiting this topic. What I am about to say may or may not fall on deaf ears, but I need to say my piece. I want to be completely aboveboard and emphasize that I am directing this at absolutely no one, and am just screaming into the void.

When the season began filming I was excited as everyone else! Back to full commercial travel, a first leg in Southeast Asia (the first time if I remember correctly?), a revisit to Rajasthan, first time to Slovenia, and revisits to long-awaited Stockholm and Ireland! Even the finale in Seattle is something I've been excited to see for years!

Then the final 3 actually happened and this all came crashing down.

This is a historic final three, absolutely, but historic in the worst way possible. My jaw was on the floor when I saw the elimination in Dublin.

Never before on the US season have we had an all-male MM. I find this utterly embarrassing, disgusting and offensive. We are at the zenith of the show's pattern of preferential treatment towards male teams and men in general. Is it any coincidence we have had 11 MM winners and only 3 FF winners? Is it any coincidence that out of 36 filmed seasons, more men have been cast in 21 of them, as opposed to only 6 seasons that had more women cast than men? Is it any coincidence that among all individual people that have crossed the finish line to win the Amazing Race, 62.5% are men?

I find this to be a microcosm of the sexist and misogynist entertainment industry in general, and this gut-wrenching prejudice has infected the show that has quite literally changed my life.

Since the season finished filming, I have reached out to as many people involved with the filming as humanly possible - I emailed Bertam van Munster, I emailed Elise Doganieri as well as messaged her on Facebook. I messaged members of the casting department on Instagram, and even reached out to Phil himself. I expressed my intense disappointment, to put it politely, and my desire for drastic change. I want to give credit to a certain member of the forum for their help in editing these messages. I could not have done this without you my friend!

This drastic change in question needs to happen next season, full stop. We need 6 or 7 strong, female teams. Even better, let's have no MM teams at all. If TAR26 lacked FF teams, why can't TAR37 lack MM teams? In the meantime, I will be boycotting the show. I'm ashamed I didn't realize the misogyny before through my thick rose-colored glasses, but now that I see it I will be acting on what I know is right to me.

Thanks for letting me vent. Cheers to a better future.

At least it's not 3 of your standard alpha teams. It includes a deaf parent, and a Black M/M team has very rarely made the final 3. But you're not wrong.
