I love that we suddenly have two 40+ FF teams in this cast.   

Andrea & Malaina are the oldest FF team since Kate & Pat in season 12. THAT is just how long the drought has been!

Agreed. So did the season that filmed at the end of last year actually, we had 9 of 26 over-40 there too and technically more over-50 there than this season. Very pleased with casting for our next two seasons! Long may it continue!

Now that the entire cast has been identified, here are the relationships this season:

3 parent/child (Rob/Corey, Elizabeth/Iliana, Steve/Anna), 3 couples (Joe/Ian, Jocelyn/Victor, Todd/Ashleigh), 4 siblings (Lena/Morgan, Alexandra/Sheridan, Greg/John, Liam/Yeremi), and 3 friends (Andrea/Malaina, Joel/Garrett, Robbin/Chelsea)

They definitely leaned more into family teams this season as opposed to couples which I like and prefer a lot

I think the season is gonna be good, will the route be disappointing... well we will just have to see.

For me, the route and tasks make no difference as to whether or not I like a season. It's the boot order for me.  TAR35's started with potential, but then went off the rails quickly.  I want a good, gender-diverse, race-diverse, and age-diverse group of teams to get far.  If we get anything like TAR35's endgame, then count me out.  The men's casting, in particular, has Canada 3 potential, which I do not want!

I wasn't saying that if the route is bad that the season will be bad. Example is season 14, I love the season, but the route is mostly overused countries with a few new locations.

If a route is good, it just adds bonus points to the season. And yes, boot order makes the biggest difference in a season's quality.

Looking at the data it actually is interesting how different this cast is from the past few:

Season 35 (or whatever that season ends up being lol): 5/13 or 6/13 couples (38% or 46%)
Season 34: 8/12 couples (67%)
Season 33: 5/11 couples (45%)

This season only has 3/13 couples (23%). I wonder if that was a conscious decision by the casting team/production.

Such a beautiful cast reminiscent of the old TAR days. It's people doing extraordinary things. 2 F/F's over 40. I waited a long time for this.
3 Parent Child Teams! The return of the Mother/Daughter. Sadly early boot. Father/Daughter gives off Gary/Mallory vibes.

My only minor comment, is the abundance of M/M Teams. Would swap out one of the Brothers Team in favor of maybe a Team of Middle-Eastern or Pacific Islander descent (for even more diversity), Mother & Son or a Young Fit FF (need a FF to win again). We have yet to see Aunt/Nephew, Aunt/Niece, Uncle/Niece, Uncle/Nephew on the US Version

I don’t mind the double legs as long as the tasks are good and the legs are long. Staying in the same city is really offputting though. Hoping they squeeze a lot of countries in the end game with less teams.

If the next leg is in Germany.... cricket.

Hopefully it's around the Cologne or Hamburg area, as those are the two huge cities that have been the least-visited. A new city would also be great. Then, teams could take a train and have a leg in rural Denmark. That would be cool.

I know that I should just be happy for another season, but they have away more exciting Europe countries that they could choose from. + sneaking a new one like Bulgaria for example. I mean, still possible, and at least we are getting a new city.
