Did we find out which 4 teams did not return for 2021 filming? Ray & Caro and Connie & Sam are pretty much confirmed, what about other 2 teams?

There's nothing in that quote that suggests that Spencer Stone was "medivacuated" during the TAR 33 filming or had any health issues at all. Is it possible? Sure, but that's true for anyone appearing on the show.

My best guess would be that Michael & Moe/Connie & Sam got eliminated in 2020 and did not return. Caro & Ray did not return due to breaking up and Anthony & Spencer did not return due to Spencer's health issues. Again, just my best guess! But that's what makes sense with the information that we have to me.

I know we saw a 4th team but I find it very hard to believe in a season where we already have two teams who couldn’t return that we would have one less elimination before the final leg

Where did we see 4th team? I am aware only of 3 teams (flight attentands, youtube parents and Dusty & Ryan) sighted during finale leg.

I really hope their fix for the teams who couldn't return wasn't doing Australia's "stowaway thing", a team or two we won't hear about until they join the race. Probably not, but...

Elise stated in one or more recent interviews they used a way that didn’t involve additional NELs. The only way I can think of is a variant of the KOR/double length leg approach, with no check in/pit stop so that some legs required two episodes.
