Designers, please refrain from messaging the judges or attacking anyone's character regarding scores. We know there's a lot of variance with the scores and you might be left with some questions about why a certain judge gave you a certain score, but all judges have given comments. If you have anything general to ask, please do so in the thread! I will not be responding to any PMs regarding scoring details.

As a reminder, the pick for the next round will be released at 9 AM Board Time, about 11 hours from now. You don't have to be there at that exact time, but it is first come first serve.

Round 1 legs were amazing, so I can't wait so see what Round 2 brings! Good job and keep it up!

gamerfan09:
I'd also like to say that my scores were taking the NEL in mind. They might be low, but they're not infallible.

Best of luck to everyone for Round 2!

MikeDodgers:
Was anyone else expecting that Non-Elimination Leg coming?

Leafsfan:
The variances in some of the legs are really high.

So bringing this back as a possible suggestion moving forward.

--- Quote from: Jimmer on July 14, 2020, 06:48:46 PM ---I have a random request for the hosts when tabulating scores (from a maths nerd  :funny: ).

Could you make sure that the spread or variability in your scores is roughly the same?

For example, if one judge has their scores ranging between 20-50 (which is a standard deviation around 8 ) and the other three judges have their scores ranging from 30-45 (a standard deviation around 4), the judge who scores between 20-50 will essentially have the weight of two judges.

The average, or means can be different (that won't change weight, on average everyone will rise/drop), but if the spread is different, the judge with more spread will have more power.

If you have any questions, please PM me! Or disregard this, you're the hosts, do what you want <3
