--- Quote --- Rumors of the local shoot began swirling online Monday morning (Dec. 3). By early evening, a CBS spokeswoman confirmed that the long-running competition series -- which sees 11 teams of two people each working to solve puzzles, perform challenges and generally outsmart the competition as they race around the world to avoid elimination -- was, indeed, preparing to film in the Crescent City.

In the interest of preserving suspense, CBS had no other details to share on the local shoot.

Found this comment on nola.com's article about this sighting an hour ago during my lunch break as well:

--- Quote ---There was a small crew filming in the HOV lanes of the CCC last night in the middle of the span. Wonder if that was it.

I Googled some stuff relevant to filming on the CCC bridge, and aparently, there was another article back in June 16, 2011 where the Crescent City Connection's high occupancy vehicle lane CAN be closed off for production filming.

--- Quote ---HOV lanes on the Crescent City Connection will be closed in both directions from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday to allow for filming by a production company, Mayor Mitch Landrieu's office announced this week.

This is what the bridge looks like.
