I am really confused now, so Asuncion leg which is supposedly happening today is only Leg 3? We missed a one leg for sure, right?

You’re right, I shouldn’t have put leg numbers because we definitely could be missing one

It's only been a week and last season's first 3 legs also happened in a week's time so it's very much possible that we're only on leg 3.

Phil posted a couple minutes ago. Wonder if there is leg going on or rest day or he's waiting for teams..............

I thinking he's taunting or throwing us off :funny:

This plaza is a few blocks from Plaza Uruguaya and I have seen a few Instagram stories in the past two hours from plaza uruguaya of women in traditional clothing dancing to traditional live music. Definitely seemed TAR-esque and something to keep an eye on

Switchbacks are usually ARI, right? So we should spotted all remaining teams, I guess.

So it’s probably safe to assume this is leg four right? Maybe we had two Brazil legs

Are Gary & DeAngelo just way ahead or do we think this is a Detour like the original watermelon stacking task?

Switchbacks are usually something that everyone has to do, except for the head shaving in India,  so it’s likely ARI since it’s clearly not a Roadblock. It

If there is only 8 stations then it has to be leg 4 because that means 3 teams have already been eliminated. Unless it’s a side of a detour with a limited number of stations which just seems unlikely to me.
I would guess that there was two Manaus legs, maybe one in city and one out in the Amazon  :duno:

Maybe it's a Switchback Detour (Watermelons or Harp) or a ARI (most probably)

Around a 45 minute lead on everyone (if task is ARI and not detour) for Gary and De’Angelo!!! Impressive

Do we think Gary & DeAngelo just got a really good flight or was there a task before this that they just CRUSHED.

I am curious about this too. They had 2 hour lead to 5 other teams right now.

All the switchbacks I remember are 2 RBs, 1 FF and 1 ARI. So they can be different for sure.

Switchbacks from Detour tasks have been turned into mandatory tasks. Broken ox became an ARI. Gorge swing and basket bikes were turned into Roadblocks. Watermelons are probably an ARI.

For Switchbacks there have been 6 Roadblocks (hay bales, pole vaulting, free falling at Batoka Gorge, bungee jumping in Greece, the shrimp bikes, & the phone), 4 ARI (the cheese, the spy briefcases, the broken ox, & the water slide), and 1 Fast Forward (the head shaving). They can definitely change things up though!

We can't be 100% certain it's an ARI tho considering its been 2 hours since Gary & DeAngelo arrived and only 2 other teams have come after them.

Based on the Asunción sighting by ShenShen:

3 teams are confirmed working with watermelon pyramid task

Asian M/F
Black M/M Footballers
Bearded M/M Axe Throwers
