Is it possible they could of gone from Bogota-Manaus instead?

Logically what makes more sense to me (map-wise) is: Trinidad -> Manaus -> Asunsión, and than Bogota (which is not 100% confirmed) to be a connection for another destination.

I'm not sure Paraguay can work, I had them in Manaus as early as the 14th...

FWIW, Bogata could make sense after that especially if the Race is headed to Oceania, New Zealand, or Australia, or a combination of them.
What’s interesting so far is the near complete lack of photos since teams left LAX.
Not clear to me whether Paraguay was before or after Brazil. That may come down to viable transportation options, and leaving room for production to stay ahead of teams, when possible.

I think with a bit of effort on Phil's / production's part it works out. Flying out of Trinidad first requires getting to Port of Spain somehow (teams on 11/12, Phil on 11/11 after finishing filming leg 1), then taking

CM 365 POS PTY 1736 1951
CM 291 PTY ASU 2116 0531 (+1)

for a morning leg in Paraguay. An extended Pit Stop allows teams to start in the morning of 11/14 (Phil on 11/13), where they can take

G3 7481 ASU GRU 1335 1635
G3 1646 GRU MAO 2110 2310

which allows for the sighting of production in GRU (they must have missed teams) and the reports of action in Manaus on Wednesday. Hours of operation allow for the leg to run on 11/15.

I agree with the first sentence.

About the lack of photos, it's perfectly normal. In South America, people hardly understand english or would even care to something happening like RIGHT IN FRONT of their eyes.

Also, TAR is not very known here in South America. In Brazil there are 209 million people, and the TAR fan base is like 1000 people only. Unfortunatly, the whole american culture is not very known in here :(

The destination would also be similar to S13 as it goes downward and all the way to the west.

But if they were headed to Oceania, wouldn't they be flying through Santiago/Buenos Aires? I think those are the only to airports in South America with flights to Sydney and/or Auckland

No clue. We have to hope we get sightings tomorrow and hunt down the 16 to 18 individuals left (8 to 9 teams) if there were 3 legs already.

Those can be connecting flights from Columbia.

That’s not quite true. There had been Latin American and Brazilian versions in the past, as recently as four years ago.

Would production really fly from South America to Oceania? ???

That would cost a lot of dollars...

Plus, production buys 30 plus seats on international flights, with at least twelve and up to twenty flights per season. I don't think money is an issue.

In the trinadad Tobago article, it says 11 teams. Who is the 11th team guys?  https://newsday.co.tt/2018/11/16/amazing-boost-for-tourism/#.W-8ZO5PffRI.facebook

Can someone explain why you think that Oceania could be next destination? Isn't that little difficult logistically? Flying to Europe is more easy, faster and cheaper, I think, but I am not flight expert. They flied to Switzerland after Columbian legs in TAR28 too.

They haven’t been in Oceania, Australia or New Zealand in a while. Like South America, they’re due. Secondly, these areas are in springtime, which is also a factor. And they’ve been to Europe a lot.

They indeed won. They went on stealth mode. The route is interesting so far. Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; Manaus, Brazil and if the speculated Ascuncion, Paraguay & Bogota, Colombia are correct, wow.

Except for the fact that 13 visited NZ during its autumn (as well as South America's last visit being only three seasons ago and Europe never getting skipped besides the exception in 2).

Also agree that something like Ireland's more likely for Leg 5 (in case 4 really is Colombia) and that if Australia does get a revisit, then it will be either during the midgame or late in the race.

New update from @ShenShen333 on Twitter that the Asunción leg is happening today! This makes a lot more sense route wise.

Leg 1: Trinidad and Tobago
Leg 2: Manaus
Leg 3: Asunción

Have the day off so will definitely be stalking all of the social media posts from Asunción

If they connect through Sao Paolo, flights get in to Asunción at: 7:25am, 9:35am, 12:55pm, and 11:45pm
