We start with a recap of last leg in Toronto.

Monica and Zainab were eliminated

Intro.

Clue: T/C 4:42pm, fly to Winnipeg to Manitoba on two different flights.

Only 3 teams on the first flight, the other 3 on the second flught.

Nancy an Mel depart at 5:43pm

TC are on the first flight

N/M are on the first flight

MP struggling to get a taxi, while cheerleaders get one before the wow.

Cheerleaders are the last one on flight 1.

M/P right behind them to second flight.

Which means second flight MP/DK/CA

Once they land they will grab a chevrolet truck and go to the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.

N/M land in first, and L/M right behind them.

Cheerleaders arrive first.

RI: Put things right. Match 18 quotes from 18 human rights activists faces, search museum for the quotes/faces.

2nd flight lands after a sequence of first 3 doing the RI task.

LM ask for a check and they are correct!!

Clue: Detour. Tights or Bites. Tights: Winnipeg Ballet, learn steps to Swan Lake, perform and get approval from Artistic Director. Bites: Travel to Skip the Dishes, navigate and pick up and deliver two food orders. If they have gotten two positive reviews, they will get their next clue.

LM first, TC second and they both choose the tights.

Second flight teams have arrived at the museum.

LM are now practicing the detour.

TC are also at the ballet detour practicing.

Phil/Martina get a check at the ri and are in third!! They are doing bites.

Commercial.

We are back!

N/M are struggling and ask CA to work together and they are now, leaving DK by themselves.

C/A finish in fourth, NM in fifth.

NM are doing the ballet. CA's choice was not shown.

M/P now doing their first delivery.

Cheerleaders do their first attempt. They get their clue!!

Faceoff: Drive yourself to Royal Canadian Legion, and do darts. Team that hits all 20 segments first,( of board )wins.

DK finish the the ri, and now do the detour (the skip one, same with CA)

CA getting a parking ticket for $0 lol

NM now practicing the ballet. T/C now attempt the ballet.

NM are getting the hang of this quite fast.

TC get their clue!!

Cheerleaders arrive at the darts, and now wait for team 2.

M/P finish delivery 1.

CA pick up delivery 1, its the customers happy birthday and they sing hbd to her lol.

DK are on the way to pick up delivery 1.

NM now attempt the ballet. They are wrong.

TC arrive at the darts.

NM now on third attempt for the ballet, and they get it.

PM arrive at the second building. And they got it!

They got 2 positive reviews, so they return to get their clue!

They are in fourth.

One each left for both teams, and Courtney gets it for her team!

RI: Drive yourself to the Forks Market for your next clue.

PM arrive at the darts

DK got the same customer as CA and sing happy birthday to her lol. They got both correct and are heading back.

They are in fifth

and CA also finish in sixth.

LM finish the darts in second!

Now its MP vs NM

TC arrive at the Forks.

Clue: Who wants to have a ball?

Perform cup and ball trick and create a balloon animal to get their next clue. Courtney doing the rb

LM arrive to the rb. Leanne doing it.

MP beat NM at the darts! They are team 3.

Martina is doing the rb

Courtney attempts the rb and she gets it on her first shot.

Clue: Drive your self to the pitstop tor Assiniboine Park: Leo Mol Sculpture Garden

We are back. Martina now attempting the magic and she messes up so they go inside because the wind is too strong.

She messes up the balloon and needs to redo it

Leanne now on her first attempt. She messes up and needs practice.

Dylan now doing the rb.

Melissa gets two bullseyes in a row. Now both teams with one left.

Nancy steps up she does not get the missing number.

Courtney gets the missing number and they are in fifth!!

NM in last.

TC arrive to the pitstop in first!! Their prize: Trip for two to NYC.

We are back to the magic. Dylan tries it and messes up.

Adam is doing the rb.

Martina on her fourth attempt. She gets it!! They are in second.

L/M finish in third. Dylan messes up on his third attempt.

He finally gets it on his 10th attempt, but messes up the balloon

Commercial.

Melissa is doing the rb after beating Nancy at rock paper scissors.

Adam now attempting the rb and messes up.

M/P arrive in second.

LM arrive in third.

Dylan finally gets the rb!! They are in fourth.

Melissa vs Adam for last place now.

Adam on his seventh attempt and he gets it!!  They are in fifth. Courtney loses the team.

D/K are in fourth place at the pitstop.

Melissa is on her sixth attempt and she gets it!!

We are back. CA are lost. NM are also at the park with CA

CA arrive in fifth.

NM are in last This is a non-elimination leg!!!

Next time: Fly to PEI!  Lobster, task menu related.

Detour: Farming detour it appears. Seems recycled from S2

With this being leg 7, with one 1 previous Nom-Elim and 1 previous KOR, gotta assume this might be the last Non-Elim of the Season, right? As there are 6 teams left, and only 4 legs remaining in the race.

It always fascinates me when teams struggle in the Face-Off. At least there were another task after the face-off, and it was not the last thing in the leg. F-O>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>∞>>>>>>H2H.

It was interesting that half teams chose Ballet detour, and the other half took the delivery detour. But both delivery destinations were the same for all teams doing delivery, right? Kinda wished the challenge was designed for more delivery options.

The Magic RB was weird, but Martina performing that made me so giddy.

It was an alright episode. Definitely subpar to the first Winnipeg visit (the museum was the same one used as that one's Pit Stop, but I believe it was still under construction then), but better than last week.

Nancy & Mellisa were a surprise. This is the first time the Face Off hasn't dinged the predictably weak team. I would have thought Courtney & Adam or Martina & Phil.

Actually kind of a letdown that Taylor was the only guy we got to see do ballet

Also: Sorry, Fossil! I think I might be out of the prediction game. My old modem died yesterday (luckily, RIGHT after the ISP mailed an updated model. So I'm already back online as of this morning) and I missed the deadline

NOOOOPE, sorry!!! S2's leg was a classic! The 5 hole, the perogies, Rex & Bob thinking they were safe but finally being eliminated? Then Rex dancing with the greeter! Can't get any better than that!

Which reminds me  , we haven't had any team taking a penalty yet, have we?

Oh my i just realized no team has taken a penalty except if you count the face off penalty

The three express passes reduced the possibility of penalties, and there may not have been many tasks that have been so hard as to induce them.

This leg was really lifted by the magician task, the various mishaps ended up creating more humour than you might expect.  Seeing one of the watching children get involved was good as well.

The museum task was a decent location and entailed enough running and memorisation to make it interesting, obviously it was meant to fit the theme of the season too.  I didn't like teams working together though.

The delivery task was obviously to promote the company and they seemed to have to deliver to the same people.  The Swan Lake task was probably not that hard.

I had a feeling it would be a non-elimination when I saw the darts face off near the end which meant one team would obviously be lagging.  I never really thought of darts as being particularly Canadian, though looking it up John Part has done well.  They defined bullseye as being both the outer and inner circle.

The splitting of teams at the start with the planes didn't turn out as quite as important as made out, though I would have liked a task before the split.

Leg 7

I thought that this leg was alright though I stand by that season two's visit was better. My main complaint is with the Face Off. The problem I have with the Face Off on TARC is that it pretty much determines the final order 30 minutes into the episode. Since the Face Off task usually takes a while to complete, it's hard for teams in the back to catch up. There have only been a handful of times that team positions have shaken up during the subsequent task after the Face Off. That's why I don't mind the H2H at the end of the leg on TAR US. The magic task did give Nancy & Mellisa a chance to catch up, but there was no way anyone was going to pass Taylor & Courtney. This episode did a better job suggesting a close result unlike the Corner Brook epsiode, and the Face Off worked for me this leg since it was paired with a NEL.

Human rights: It was a difficult task to start the leg, and it did fit well with the theme.
Tights: The ballet wasn't too difficult.
Bites: Seemed to be much harder than the ballet. I'm guessing Fran had a good birthday. 
Darts: The darts just seemed random when combined with the Canadian Legion and not the most thrilling.
Magic: Surprisingly the best task of the leg. I had a lot of fun watching it.

How so?

My thoughts are pretty much the same as Maanca and WindsorSue. Courtney & Adam and Martina & Phil are my main sources of entertainment unlike season two where nearly every team contributed. Also, the singing was way more fun to watch. Ultimately, I found season two's visit more memorable and more unpredictable, but I still think that this episode was fine.
