In response to #477 (and discussion of the Moo Task and Water task in general)
There was an article about this (I posted it yesterday). They said 3 moos came in on tractors followed by the teams, indicating only three of the teams completed this task. However, it’s possible that the person who wrote the article came late to the party and missed the other two teams doing the moo task, OR, they were instructed by TAR production not to mention them or show them in the video. Remember, we saw Floyd and Becca in the area with helmets! IF Victor/Nicole and Becca/Floyd did do the moo task before the others, that would mean they were somewhat ahead of the other teams. C/C, J/L, T/K were all close together and that would work perfectly for production of the video. The article also indicated that after the three teams left, so did everyone else… (production/camera crews). It also said that they were told the teams were headed to Giethoorn.
Keep in mind that the video’s were obviously edited because it showed them arriving, getting their moos, doing the hoist and then hustling to leave BUT there is a pic with Tyler and Christie at the moo task, talking to the camera or listening to something. Also, I know there is another video I saw, but the person who posted it has since made her IG private. I believe it showed the teams standing around together, getting the instructions. The article did say that the teams received instructions prior to doing the task. She was fairly close, I could guess maybe production asked her to shut it down or she was uncomfortable with all the attention she was getting.
The person who took the photo of Christie/Tyler indicated he took the picture before Victor and Nicole asked to use his phone. But I guess the big question is; were the teams receiving instructions (before the task) when the picture was taken or it taken after they did the task? Another question would be whether or not the teams had left the area when Victor and Nicole asked to use the phone? If the other teams had left, how long before? It’s possible that production didn’t want Vic/Nic in the area when the other teams were doing the task AND when the video for the article was being filmed. Were Victor and Nicole on bikes or in a car or walking? The man said he didn’t have time to snap a pic of Victor and Nicole because they rushed off. He also said he didn’t think Victor and Nicole were last.
The video in the article showed the teams leave on bikes. Surely they were not going to ride their bikes over 24 miles to Giethoorn! They had to have either taken a taxi (who likely knew where Giethoorn was) or they were self driving, which makes sense and is likely why Victor and Nicole needed to google a map to get there. (But may be their taxi driver had no idea where he was going.) Teams would have had to ride their bikes to wherever the car/taxi was, load their stuff and take off for Giethoorn. Victor and Nicole were likely ready to go when they asked to borrow the phone.
Now, the video of Nicole/Victor on the water…
So I looked at video posted on twitter of Nicole and Victor in the water. and because I am MST I read her tweet was sent at 3:36pm MST 30 Jun, but it was 11:26pm 30 Jun in Giethoorn. So she posted the video to Twitter a long time after it was taped. The previously stated time frame was based on comment to Nicole’s IG. I do see the comment on Nicole's IG, but I do not see a timestamp (actual time) for the comment however, I do know she made the comment today because a) the time frame didn’t work for yesterday and B) When I look at the comments on Nic’s IG, the comment is listed under July 1. So, this could mean we really have no idea what time the person actually taped the video. The pic of Korey and Tyler on the water was indeed taken at 1:34pm Giethoorn time but she didn’t post the pic to twitter until 7:04pm Giethoorn time.
So I guess it’s not set in stone that Vic and Nic were behind Tyler/Korey.
