It looks like this right now... Aren't Laos and Vietnam "similiar" countries, if you know what I mean? Not very happy with amount of legs they spent in Southeast asia..

19 also spent four legs in Southeast Asia, two in Indonesia and two in Thailand. So there's a precedent for a regional overload.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I love the Asian legs.  There is more of a culture shock than in a lot of European capitals and the hustle and bustle, combined with the different alphabet that keeps the teams on their toes and normally only the strong or the lucky survive.

I agree, Asian legs are essentially harder, and as long as they go to a different continent for leg 6, it's not an overload for me.

A Tokyo Leg, let alone any Japan Leg will certainly be very different than any Leg in Laos. Even a Ho Chi Minh City Leg in Vietnam. So even if they're all Asian countries, the Legs themselves would be very different and unique.

There have been a few photos/ videos with Vicole and Colin/Christie together from this last leg. Do we think this could have been a team swap partial leg? They did it at final 6 in tar30, and it looks like we might be at final 8 right now.

With 5 legs of Asia, I think Australia's out now? I can say the rest of the destination routes will be:
* 5- (6?) Legs of Asia - Japan, Laos, Vietnam, Another SE country ( Be it Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, East Timor? )
* 2- 3 Legs of Europe?

Choosing one of the SA, CA, & AF countries:
2 Legs of Central America or 2 Legs of South America or 2 Legs of Africa?

Wow, nice fact, and tbh even if that sounds cruel, I wouldn't mind it. I liked them on S29, but not too excited to see them again, especially so soon.

Nice catch! Didn't even cross my mind but now seems plausible, actually.
I was thinking why were Vicole & Colin/Christie spotted together so many times, so that would be an excellent explanation. But they were also on a bus together with TeamFun, was anybody else there to warrant an actual partner swap?

If Mount Phousi was the pitstop on what we think is Leg 2- Phil seen 6/14- and teams were spotted right by it on 6/16- wouldn’t it be more likely that what we saw on the 16th be them leaving the pit start for leg 3?

I’m sure it’s happened in the past, but I find it odd for the race to circle to the same area of town on two separate legs

Check the Timeline thread that Leg 3 could be a duo of Laos (first half) and Vietnam (second half) at that would be likely 4 legs in Asia.

Assuming that would give two Africa legs and a penultimate leg in South America.

The destination route should look this: Asia > Africa > Europe > Africa > South America > North America ( USA )

I think the main reason people are speculating 2 legs in Laos is because 8 teams were spotted in Siem Reap.

But like it was mentioned, there are THOUSANDS of reasons one team could be missing:
- There wanted a coffee
-They were busy buying food/book/guides
- They were at the bathroom
- They didn't want to be in the picture, etc...

If we don't ever see Rupert/Laura and the Afghanimals, then maybe that was really our final 8, but it's not 100%
