For anyone who is confused, here's a rough timeline of info we have so far:

(6-10) Race starts at Hermosa Beach; teams spotted at LAX, headed for Tokyo-Narita
(6-11) Teams arrive at Tokyo in late afternoon; team spotted in Shibuya later that night
(6-12) No sightings
(6-13) Team spotted at Hanoi International Airport at departure terminal- possibly afternoon/early evening
(6-14) Crew spotted in Luang Prabang, Laos

At this point, it seems tight to fit another leg in, especially in another country (Malaysia/Vietnam).  Outside chance of a second Japan leg.

IMO, most likely extended pit stop after leg 1, and the sightings from today are of leg 2

Can't we have a 12-hr pitstop for leg 1 and a short leg 2 in Japan on 12/6. Then another relative short pitstop to allow teams depart mid-day on 13/6 for leg 3 through a transit in Hanoi, with an late-night arrival in Laos, followed by a HOO and start the actual racing of leg 3 on 14/6?

There was that tweet about teams going to Malaysia. I see there are flights from Kuala Lumpur to Luang Prabang. Perhaps teams connected in Kuala Lumpur from Tokyo?

Maybe the start of leg 2 was similar to Tar26. Teams could've been released on the evening of the 12th the had to overnight at Narita to take a morning flight to Hanoi. Maybe the pitstop wasn't in Tokyo? It could've been in a rural area in a neaby province or even Yokohama? Then teams most likely had an HOO in Luang Prabang.

There's one element that should be noted re length of pit stop at the end of the first leg.

Production (and Phil would have to get ahead of the teams prior to starting the second leg. Flights to places such as Laos would likely require an extended pit stop of 24 to 36 hours to get production on its way.

And yes, Laos has been one of those countries that has been on the top of wishlists for seasons and seasons, just like Nepal and Burma/Myanmar have been.

It's just funny the one time they finally visit Laos, Eliza is on. Lol. But yup, she should have no problem navigating and blending in with the cultures. Definitely one to watch out for. The question is, is Corinne going to slow her down?
