Thinking ahead, perhaps this TARCAN will be the first to avoid a now predictable non-elimination at F5.

Mbabul translated to "defeat" in Malay - false cognate, perhaps?

actually it's a slang for us Indonesian.
"mbabul" and "masbul" are abbreviations for "mbak bule" and "mas bule" which means "male and female foreigners"
so it means nothing rather than to just confirmed the people are indeed not locals.

I think I have a clue leading to our missing leg in Indonesia

https://www.facebook.com/100009486404313/videos/pcb.2014316735561187/2014309288895265/?type=3&theater

here you can see around 10 numbered taxis from a travel agent was chartered and waiting in front of a hotel around Yogyakarta.
I'm sorry I can't get more info now bcs i'm lacking signal  :groan:  can someone ask him?
I counted 8 :duno:

If Yogyakarta is the missing leg, I can kinda hear Jon's intro now, making light of the rhyming names.

"Teams will now go Jakarta...to Yogyakarta"

Anybody think this tweet means anything? It's in Malay not Indonesian, but I can't get a good translation in either language. The tendency to use abbreviations makes translation tough. Grrr! It mentions Argentina which makes me doubt it being TARC 6.

Apparently Yogyakarta does have an important obelisk monument that is often used as a symbol of the city of Yogyakarta:

I think this is talking about the free gas reward given out during S3, which also visited Argentina.

Stratford, Ontario, huh?

The thing that city is known for: Shakespeare/theatre. Home of the Stratford Festival (and Justin Bieber, bleh :P )

Gettin' closer to my hometown each year.

Second year in a row to go from Asia in Leg 5 to ON for Leg 6.

They can't keep skipping Manitoba indefinitely...

The Shakespearean Gardens are very picturesque.

It would be very odd to eschew a place named for the epnoymous playwright, so it'll certainly feature as a task site or Pit Stop #6.

Yeah, it's not only named after the town Shakespeare was from in England, but so is the river there, the Avon. They're pretty big on it.

Just Jon & crew were sighted, and people were told no pictures. He's prob filming his next FB vid. Leg could be tomorrow, just like Duncan/ Salt Spring.

Is Stratford big enought to do a whole leg, or we are looking at more cities? Like London or Cambridge...
Maybe a whole leg with British cities in Ontario?  :funny:

If they went to Cambridge (east of Stratford), I'm on it. That would be my hometown. :D

Agreed.

Ideally, Leg 7 is also in Ontario rather than postponing it a la TO/Sudbury and Ottawa/SSM, e.g. Kitchener now rather than later!

I'm hoping they will do only 1 leg in Ontario... And if they do another one, then maybe it will be in a different region, like north or closer to the QC boarder

Season 6 is looking to be a lot like season 5. I would guess 2 or 3 legs before going international again, then 2 legs before the finale. I hope they skip Alberta and the finale is in Winnipeg. I would except 1-2 legs in the maritimes (A combo of PEI/NS/NB) and one leg in Quebec.

Hopefully whatever the other upcoming international country is, it's not a Latin American one. Then this route will truly be like the last 2 seasons :P

Thing is, those areas were already covered last year - something like Waterloo would be more feasible.

Team 6 Spotted in Toronto, but when was this?
If the person was in transit in Toronto, why was team 6 in the transit zone... Isn't Stratford close by car to Toronto?

Why go ALL THE WAY to Asia, just for 2 legs?  :groan:

They could head to Europe (England, Ireland, Scotland) for a leg than a country like Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Finland.

Then head to Alberta for the penultimate leg, with the finale in Winnipeg!
