Not SEEN does not mean not THERE.

Which fails to contradict how at least one team has been eliminated, either in Squamish or Dawson City.

Actually Both team 1 and 4 could still be in the race.
If leg 1 was non-elimination, then a team seen in Dawson, but not seen here in Duncan could have been eliminated.

Ex: Team 3, 6 and 9 have not yet been seen in Duncan

Last american season, we didn't see the skiers between leg 2 and 4, and lots of people were quick to say they were eliminated in leg 3!

Hmm, there's a 1/3 chance that the premiere and Leg 2 were both eliminations.

Good rule of thumb is to wait for visual confirmation on subsequent legs. Then work backwards.

Possible route from YVR to Duncan. YVR then shuttle to South terminal to get float plane. Land at Saltspring. Looks like there are cars there so they’ve been pre-set. Then drive to Vesuvius on the north end of Salt Spring Island and take small ferry to Crofton, just north of Duncan, a 20 min drive.

No worries! I've jumped the gun and been burned too many times. LOL In season 2, we even missed a team right from the start. Good times.

So they're doing a car racing Roadblock in the rain? Like Season 2 in Montreal all over again.

Is anyone else thinking that Leg 4, teams will fly to Vancouver and then fly to Australia/Asia?

Could very much be a possibility...

Yep. But they wouldn't fly to Vancouver, just take a ferry. It's right there.

They could also fly Nanaimo to YVR. Are there any Int'l flights out of Victoria?

Yes! Seattle and San Francisco are the ones for Sunday. America could be another destination...

Also, the funny thing is I've noticed there are a lot of fans thinking they've stayed on Vancouver Island since the start. They don't know of Squamish & Dawson City. They are going to be so confused.  :funny:

To go international, except seattle and san fran thru Victoria airport, must go thru yvr. Can take short puddle jumper from Nanaimo (closer - only 30 mins from Duncan) or victoria airports, or sea plane from nanaimo harbour or helijet (both land at south terminal at yvr then need 10 min or less shuttle to main airport).

They can also go ferry route again. Nanaimo to horseshoe bay then south thru vancouver to yvr or Duke Pont (just south of nanaimo) to tsawwassen again then 20-30 drive north to yvr. Funny enough both routes will take 2 1/2 hrs.

Can't wait to see everything you have tomorrow!!

Do we know how many teams were left at this point?
I think at this point, it's a good guess to think they are going international for a leg or two, being so close to Vancouver

Any idea where the pit stop is (or rather where they are staying)? That might help us narrow down how they’ll get back to the mainland.

What about the picture of Jon with the totems in Duncan? (next to the Museum)

Do we think they did something there? Or it was just roll-up footage
