I like the idea of Mozambique though I feel like there were enough difficulties getting into, out of, and around it that it might not be visited again.

OK 5288 (that's Czech Airlines) PRG TLV 2345 0435 (+1)
(There are several other direct flights both on Czech Air and on various low-cost airlines arriving throughout the day. Make of this what you will )
That's a factor I'd assume has dissuaded a Nepal visit for so long. They've only got one international airport serving the entire country, which would make the logistics to plan it as part of a route trickier.
I could rule out Nepal that has only one international airport as Maanca was right.
The next destination list would be trickier as follows:
Leg 7: Cape Town, South Africa
Leg 8: Chiang Mai, Thailand
or Phnom Penh/Siem Reap, Cambodia
Leg 9: Jakarta, Indonesia
Legs 10 and 11: Melbourne, Australia and nearby surrounding areas*
Then the final destination in the West Coast (California) for the finish line.

Those areas near Melbourne would be placed such as Geelong/Port Campbell (Great Ocean Road)/Healesville/Castlemaine/Sunbury/Bendigo/Ballarat.
