In the comments, when asked if they knew where the teams were headed, this person left a comment that sounds like they talked to someone locally perhaps? Unsure if confirmed, but could be a clue for us as we hunt for pictures.

Someone replied to the post from this morning with that photo.

The original post was posted by Muchero Mutizwa. "We can't say Zim is boring...Amazing Race contestants racing in Zim...spotted at the airport. Season 30(our 5mins of fame:-) )"

It doesn't say that the photo is from today.

Googled Muchero Mutizwa and she is the Managing Director at SplashArt in Zimbabwe.

Unless Phil brought the exact same outfit for each Zimbabwe visit, I still do not understand how the most recent sighting is current.

Not from the looks of it. Southern Africa typically tends to be much more difficult than Europe to get verifiable sightings out of, you kinda have to have a tourist familiar with TAR who happens to be in the right place at the right time. Parts of Asia, too.

They're not gonna be as big on BB to be able to recognize Jody.

I've been in Baltimore all day so excuse me if I missed something. Perhaps they are in Zimbabwe, perhaps they aren't. I'm just not inclined to believe that these BB fans would know more information than us when it comes to a country and continent where I doubt many people know who "Jody" are. I also can't think for the life of me when Bertrum has ever been so uncreative to visit the exact same city in back to back seasons. That they really believed a photo from 2015 was current and that the same pitstop was being used shows me they have no idea what is going on, except for the information we got from a passenger that was told their going to Zimbabwe. I sincerely appreciate the help they have provided in Europe, but when it comes to Africa, it's anyones guess.
