So we have some slight celebrities after all. Not a full cast of everyday teams, nor do we have older contestants, nor do we have teams that are not as in shape (as I noticed nearly everyone on 29 was uber-fit, when did that become mandatory?).

On the bright side, at least the teams all have a pre-determined relationship...

- Cody (32) & Jessica (26) - Newly Dating & Former Big Brother
- Alexander (26) & Conor (25) - Friends & IndyCar Drivers
- Cedric (48) & Shawn (39) - Friends & Former NBA Players
- April (40) & Sarah (40s) - Friends & Goat Yoga Instructors
- Joey (33) & Tim (40) - Competitive Eaters

Still to confirm:
- M/F in fluro and light green, female may be Indian.
- M/M in black and grey.
- M/F in 'Y' caps, male is Asian-American.
- F/F in pink.
- M/M bald in plaid.
- F/F younger in red.

Wonder where they will be going in Iceland. Jokulsarlon is beautiful, but was used the last time they went there. Icelandic hot dogs, as well as shark and Brennevin could also be featured.

It's possible, but no guarantee. Also, they aren't extremely bright, so it would be hard to get them on camera. I feel like most of the time, racers finish the legs in daylight too.

Iceland? Great! I remember that leg in Iceland in s6 was pretty good. Possible ice climbing on a glaciers.

At least there would be never having another South America leg after having four consecutive seasons in a row. Let's start for Europe -> Africa -> Asia -> Oceania -> USA route.

Fingers crossed for a 5-continent, 10 country and a near 40,000 mile race.

Pray for Latvia in the next leg. The only Baltic country never visited in TAR franchise and it is way long overdue since the start of HD era.

There are a flights to Riga from Reykjavik-Keflavik with a stop at either Oslo/Copenhagen/Stockholm.

With Iceland as first leg, I suspect another Northern Europe country as next,  probably Sweden or Finland, before they go on the Baltic (Latvia)

That's the thing about Iceland. It's got some cool almost unearthly landscapes in places.

Good news: second flight's gate was right near mine!

Bad news: didn't make it in time to have good interaction with teams

The second flight is expected to take off 10 minutes early at 8:55pm and the first flight is now expected to take off at 9:06pm

I hope the teams buy good road maps with their remaining cash (cab fare will eat most of the $85). The directions in the Additional Information are not very good (here are driving instructions from a Húsafell tourist attraction; the route is not intuitive and the road signs aren't much help).
