But this season feels really dry as a whole.
We've only had a couple emotional moments with Cirie, but what else?
Not speaking about the pre-merge, because it was amazing however it went, and had proper drama, but this season lacks character development and/or touching, personal, strategy-unrelated content.
Like, Millenials vs. Gen X had Zeke & Brett storyline, David's growth story, Adam's mother (although it was shoved down our throats
) and others.
In Kaoh Rong, we had a lot of emotions with the evacuations and close relationships that got ruined, like Debbie & Aubry. There were proper villains to root against and there was Tai with his entire rollercoaster story.
I wasn't a fan of MvGX due to the underwhelming winner (yes, even Michele was slightly better), but, in retrospect, that season and especially Kaoh Rong, were far more enjoyable that Game Changers.
There are way too many advantages (that are all still in the game bar the vote steal
) and everyone is like a gamebot without any feelings. That's what I'm missing at least.
