Looks like no new episode Aug 16th, instead there is a recap show:

THE AMAZING RACE CANADA: TOP 20 MOMENTS counts down the 20 biggest and most exciting moments from the race so far, giving viewers the chance to relive all of the Roadblocks, Detours, tears, laughs and challenges that the Racers encountered. Catch up on the first seven episodes of the hit series and follow the Racers as they struggle and fight their way to the finish line."
In addition, although the PR says "new episode" on Aug 9, all the listings ep descriptions & titles I see say it is "Am I really Operating the Plane?". So I will try to verify.
I am just wondering if they are thinking of pre-empting the episodes due to the Olympics (airing on CBC).

Thanks Sue! I understand a recap show, given their lack of previews and press releases hopefuly the Aug 9 sounds like an error?
Hope no Olympic scheduling issues! They are not airing on CTV right?

CTV is not Canada's Olympics broadcaster. That's CBC's department.
But I wonder how much of a hit the ratings will take during that time :( On top of the one it already has from AGT.

I think I said the Olympics were airing on CBC, but I am thinking they don't want to compete.
At least this pushes back the finale episode, which is good news for me cos I thought I would miss the last two episodes while on holiday!!!

Aw, so the episode I was most eager for, leg 8, gets pushed back a week :P
