In the past seasons, Phil used to post scenic pictures in his Instagram account which are clues on where he is. Now he does not. I remember we were missing a leg in Season 25, Phil posted a picture of a tunnel and an RFF user decoded the picture and located that the tunnel is in Italy.

Isn't that just the old name of Tanzania? That episode of the Simpsons when they went to Africa comes to mind.

Zanzibar is part of Tanzania although it's SemiAutonomous. I think it once was an independent country.

huh!?!  Zanzibar (Tanzania).... appears this season is shadowing TAR11 (South America, Africa...)

IIRC wasn't there an 'unfinished' or 'altered' task involving boat travel to Zanzibar in TAR11?  Could this be a re-do of that task?  Been so long ago, hard to remember.   ???

I just want to say that TANZANIA is a PLACE OF MY HEART. I spent a long time in Kenya and Tanzania, and they changed me. I love the places and the people, and could not be more thrilled that we are back for another visit..

One of my biggest TAR disappointments was the TAR 11 "LOST" Tanzanian leg  Because of the whatever production/cast/transportation issues we lost a leg there, and I have been grieving for it ever since. You might have fun going back and reading those spoilers.

SPEC TRANSPORT:

Team had two choices to get to Zanzibar although I am sure they were directed to take one or the other.

There was one direct flight

But more likely they flew to Dar and then took one of many flights onto  Zanzibar, which would put them about 3 miles from town and their next sighting.

I can't see them doing 2 legs in Zanzibar, they may visit one of the outlying islands, Dar Es Salam, Serengeti or maybe Kenya.
