I have to say I am liking the race course so far  ! They are visiting countries that there's a while since has been visited, and it seems as though they are taking visits to the tourist attractions, much like the earlier seasons (Copacabana, Victoria Falls, Arc De Triomphe etc.) Maybe they are going back to their roots for this season, seing as though Zambia, the first ever destination (excluding Flying into South Africa to fly to Zambia), is in this season as well

They better not, fingers crossed. Normally, TAR has 2 legs in 1 country, a total of 3. (Referring to recent seasons S. 23 where they had Chile, United Arab Emirates and Indonesia; S.25 where they had United Kingdom, Philippines and Morocco). Hopefully this won't be like S.24 (China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Italy) & S.26 (Japan, Thailand, Namibia and Peru)  There is hope because Phil said they've listened to us

They can double leg all they want if the location is diversed and interesting enough and the task is great. (Aka, Thailand - Namibia - Peru in 26). But the reason 24 is so bad because all the double legs they did (China - Malaysia - Sri Lanka - Italy) is really lacked of race material. It felt like a filler leg. (Esp. China 1/2 and Sri Lanka 1) and the fact that 3 of them happened in Asia made it even more worse. 26 did a good job at spread the double legs around even though it also had 4 double legs.

But I think this season might back to 3 double legs again. (Argentina , Zambia and probably some country in Asia later in the race) So let's see!

I am also really finding this route to be great so far.  I have to assume that leg 9 will venture to Asia for the next 3 legs before hitting somewhere on the west coast for the finale (hoping for Seattle or Phoenix, but dreading the likelihood of another San Fran finish).

I groaned when I saw the Netherlands again, but at least its not Amsterdam, which has been so overused on this show.  Thrilled to see Zambia and Zimbabwe there, and even excited for another trip to Paris, which has been long overdue for another round.  Is Krakow where Auschwitz is located from TAR11?  Not much of a "switchback" opportunity there, but I would still be down for another stop there, as its such an emotional place.

South Korea is out from MERS. And in my opinion, I love China. It has so much history and is so diverse, they could visit every season and I'd be peachy keen

Heck yeah it is. For some reason everyone thinks Arizona is a dry heat, which it isn't. In July and August it gets humid from our monsoon season! But you're right, I'm sure it's much better than in the South!

I hope the penultimate legs takes place in South East Asia just to mess with the teams since it's really hot and raining now due to monsoon season. Burma (Is it possible? I mean, it's pretty touristy now.) or Brunei as a new country would be appreciate. Or Vietnam (with a switchback to TAR3 since this season seemed to have a nostalgic theme with several potential switchback)

We don't know...yet. No pics. Based on one (unverified) twitterer, Belmont and Long Island and the Hamptons were discussed. Still lots to spoil! But yes, definitely NYC area.

Somehow I'm getting the feeling that the pitstop will be somewhere Sunken Meadow State Park, I don't know why but it seems plausible  That place is filled with lots of activity to do, it would be crazy not to put it there

I just looked there myself, and I would actually say that Season 22 was the last time there was only 2 Double Country Legs.  I'm from the UK (Ireland), and I'd consider Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland as 4 separate countries all within the UK, so for that reason I'd say Leg 10 is in a totally different country then Leg 11.

Maybe it depends what country a person is from. If it's inside UK, maybe it's considered 4 different "countries," while if it's outside UK, they are all considered 1 whole country. Just my guess.

We had them going to The Hague in the Netherlands, not Rotterdam. That may give us something new to look into.

Update: A little research shows that The Hague and Rotterdam are about 12.5 miles apart (20 km). Not a big difference, but we can search on Rotterdam and see if anything comes up.

I spent months in the Netherlands...the two cities are SO different. Den Haag is classic and charming. Rotterdam is more industrial, urban
 
They would not have flown Paris>Rotterdam. But a train is worth looking into....(although via Amsterdam seems easier) --maybe they just picked up a clue there?

There must be the possibility that they visited both cities and we just didn't get any sightings for Rotterdam, right?
I'm assuming (like Peach) that they went there for a single clue or maybe a detour option required them to go to Rotterdam.
