I love this season.  I doubt Vanessa will make it to final 2 but she is my favorite.  It is refreshing not to have all the contestants to be as dumb as a door knob.  I'm so glad Austin is gone.  I hope Liz watches this season when she gets out and dumps him.  He has such a short temper and controlling personality.

I love not knowing who will take who to the finals or who will win.

The twists are abandoned every year. This was suppose to be the year of the BB take over twists all summer. I think it only lasted three weeks. They seem to do that type of thing every year. Hype the twists and then they abandon them. Remember the "Most Twisted Summer" I think that fell flat too.

I really think the game would get more interesting if they just kept the twists up. A coup de tat would have been great.

BB has lost their creativity. I would love to see weekly twists. They don't even have to be game changing twists. Just mix it up.

On the other hand it might also be good to have a season with no twists. Just game play.

The endgame has been more suspectible to change than the last 3 seasons, where we pretty much knew the boot order from f6 on. But in f6 we had

-F6: Target Austin, he wins PoV. Then it's Liz.. til Vanessa warps and evicts Julia because it's good for her game and her game only (lol)
F5: Vanessa wins HoH and no one knows what she'll do. She sides with Liztin, puts up John/Steve. John target. He wins Pov. then its steve v austin the entire week and only Vanessa chose to flip from her original plan and voted Austin Out.
F4: Steve won HoH, and who knows how PoV changes things!

BB15
-Elissa was out at f6, and the only switchup was Judd in f5 after Mccrae won pov

BB16
-lol

BB14
Joe was fodder, as was Jenn :shrugs:


As for faves, didn't this entire thread blow up when John won PoV this week? Aren't I the only hardcore Vanessa/Liz fan in this thread?

BB doesn't need twists to succeed, but I do prefer non game format changing ones(ex-factor, twin twist/project DNA/partners/enemies etc) to the format altering ones (coaches, botb, cliques etc) MVP is probably the only one I could tolerate.

I admit I'm on edge because Liz lost HoH and I want john/steve split up, but even if John or Steve win this will still be a refreshing Big Brother season! idc about "ratings" (which BB is still #1 in the timeslot regardless)

1- Can JMac make a decision by his own way? "It's time to get blood in my hands!", "It's time to make a big move!"... Dude, shut up, you are not doing ANYTHING!

2- Steve HOH. Disgusting. His target was Vanessa. Disgusting. WAS, because Vanessa won POV. YAAAAAAY!

3- Ok, so Vanessa has to decide who goes home... Girl, you broke a showmance, now break the other, because it's clear that Steve & JMac will evict you before the other! Please, vote JMac out. So Liz F3! <3

4- Then, my ideal night would be: JMac evicted. Liz HOH. Vanessa & Steve up. Steve is evicted. Liz & Vanessa F2. <3333

5- I like Liz, but, Vanessa was the best player this season, and I know she is rich, but she deserves the win!

ANY FOOL would know that if she keeps Liz, she starts off with 2 votes against her (Austin and Julia).

Her best bet is to hope it is her against either John or Steve and that the others will reward game play.

Yep that's the entire problem. And it starts with the casting. And then, there's no new ideas at all for "twists" and really, is it that hard? Earlier in this thread I posted one such.

On Vanessa: I really don't know why she is paranoid about getting Jury votes. She has the best case for being the grand prize winner. Through hook or by crook or by any other means, every member of that jury is in that jury house because of her. "I fooled you and you and you and you." She's been by far the best strategic player. I think that, yes if she takes Liz to F2 she probably loses though. I think by far the player who has the least respect of the jury is John, so that is who I would take. He has the weakest case to make for the grand prize, among those left in the house.

Your right...if they threw in a few random coup de tat's  and unknown twist here and there change around the weekly game format's, it would throw everyone's game off, and instead of a Dan or Vanessa controlling everything or everyone , you might see a lot of valuable players that never got the  chance to make a big move or get blood on their hands   blow up the BB Dan's and Vanessa's  game.  As long as the big mouth's in the DR's would keep their mouth's shut as to when these things are going to occur it would be more exciting to watch BB...I don't know about you all but I think a few unknown incentives would keep the "Meg's, Julia, Liz, Clay, John, even Austin from hanging on to the others for protection to play to win every week...you know this happens every year this alliance that alliance oh hell be in 10 alliances, it gets old for us watching...and I hate tattle teller's.  If ratings are down it's because we are getting tired of the same old bs every year.

When he won to come back in the game, he would joke around and say You all voted me out, so I hate everyone...He was joking or was he      lol it always made me smile.  John a lot of times came in 2nd to hoh's and Veto's, he would joke about coming in 2nd, but some of those he threw when he knew he would be safe because of who would win,  for the same reason that Vanessa has to constantly remind everyone of what she won but it's  easy when alliance members fall off or throw it.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it lol

I expected something twist-worthy this season but I can't really say anything impressed me. They need to find some new angles, twists and games. The brand is getting a little old.
