I will say this-- I've tried a few times today on Twitter, and I haven't seen anything. Given that and the lack of incoming here, the teams have either been well hid, or the weather really has kept potential bystanders indoors.

Agreed. I'm shocked that there weren't any sightings except for the one guy. I figured we would get a few at the airport where the weather shouldn't have been a problem. I was looking on Twitter all day, not just for mentions of amazing race, but for every keyword I could think of. Nothing. Didn't see anything on Instagram either, though I wasn't very thorough there.

I expect we'll find out more in the next few days.

At least I was right when I said I thought New York was likeliest out of the rumors I'd heard.

So I did a quick calcuation of the route length and it appears to be just over 32,000 miles.

Josh posted on his Instagram (now public) an hour ago that they survived the adventure of a lifetime. He's saying he's the final 3 right?

Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe he's just saying he survived the adventure of a lifetime.

Of course he is NOT saying that. Contestants sign NDA's and would be subject to legal action, hefty fines, and the loss of any financial prizes/awards. Why risk it?  I am sure he is JUST saying "survived"....for however long that may/may not be.

He COULD be saying that though, right? I remember Robbie said in a pre-race interview that he and Brooke "never got to go" to sequesterville. Alright, it's not that important anyway... at least yet.

I even tried Weibo, found nothing

Sad that we didn't even get any teams spoilers from the airport. Its like teams were invisible through Hong Kong. :funny:

I know this thread is not supposed to include speculations, but one doesn't say they "survived the adventure" if he's the first one out.

Hey guys!

I'm confused ... on last season of amazing race, we (I'm going to be presumptuous and include myself) had the line up of how the elimination went down to the final four ... does anyone know how the elimination went down this time?  This discussion board is labeled "spoilers" so I don't think people who don't want to know would be viewing this board.

Appreciate any information anyone can share!

You should check the timeline thread.

No confirmed eliminations are known, other than TMZ on leg 1.

It's kind of hard to confirm an elimination unless we have a witness at the mat. Usually we just notice that a team wasn't seen after a particular leg, so they must have been eliminated then. Or that say, team A and team B were seen on leg 5, we have no witnesses for leg 6 and 7 and all the other teams were seen on leg 8. Therefore team A and team B must have been the two teams eliminated on legs 6 and 7 but we don't know which team on each leg.

This season we don't have it all worked out yet, but we may figure out more now that the filming is over.

You mean like Matt & Ashley last season. Somebody saw them get eliminated (described as a "M/F Fitness Team")

Yes, and also last season when someone posted that so and so cleared the Netherlands, etc.  Thanks for the info and for looking out!

What I think we can presume is that the two racers that checked in at the Hong Kong airport and did their speech with the camera made it to the finals ... also the two racers pictured hailing a cab in Hong Kong possibly made it to the finals.

Well, like I said, if you want info on which teams were spotted where and therefore are safe on which legs, you should check out the timeline thread. That's where you'll find ALL of such info.

I am going to share a joke ... It is common knowledge that the TMZ team was eliminated first and I don't think it is a big deal that people know which team was eliminated first as it is only the first team ... and ...  TMZ always have fast-breaking news so I called the TMZ hotline and asked the staff who answered something to the effect that everyone knows the TMZ team was eliminated first, so when are they going to cover the story?  I said "the world is waiting!" ... the staff who answered the phone hung up on me ...

Not sure what to make of this one:

dina lockridge ‏@dinalockridge 2m2 minutes ago
Visiting dad on set today directing his TV show + congrats to his Amazing Race team for another Emmy… https://instagram.com/p/5NcQiEH3JF/

I can't grab the picture, but it shows a man (who looks like he hasn't shaved in a few weeks) and a little girl inside what might be a bus or a mobile recording unit of some kind. There's a mixing board and headphones in the background.

Dina Lockridge's instagram page says she's the editor of Greenwich Girl magazine. A little research shows that the magazine is headquartered in Greenwich, CT, so it wouldn't be much of a drive to get out to Long Island where the show is presumably still wrapping things up.

Or a producer/director could just be involved in another project?

It's very possible he was working on TAR and now that filming is over, he's working on another project. Obviously, there's no way to tell or to determine the location from the picture. Although I wonder if they actually do much sound processing at the pit stop locations, so maybe it is for another project.

If they did go through the churches and old streets and there was no sighting
That would be awesome
