I will say as confirmed as it cann be withouta picture.

SO..what is next?

I have reason to believe the Finae leg must be done by 7/14.

So teams are in Macau (assumed) now where it is ~10PM.

They need to get themselves to HK airport either tonight (their time) or by a pretty early time in the AM.

If I were WRP I would want my racers all together in ione place asap.

There are options to get to HK airport.

You can take a ferry (STAR or Turbo tonight back to HK and then use taxi whatever to go to the airport. Might be best TV, nighttime footage. Would get them there to campout at airport tonight HK time, assumes a KOR OR a 4-5 pitstop like Panama.  Can also do the same in the AM HK time but depending on departure time could be tight. Teams could be seen at ferry or arriving at airport.

They can also take the Turbojet ferry Macau>HK AIRPORT directly either last one tonight or first one this am. This is a restricted passport/airline ticket required and would arrive in an area beyond security at the airport.

Possible flights isted in transport.

SF, Seattle, Chicago even NYC all possible. Plus afew others. Won't be Dallas.

Just some info here, the link below is the schedule for ferry from Macau to hk airport, since there're not frequent services and no overnight ferry, I think they probably take ferry back hk Island and take taxi instead of direct ferry to airport.

Thanks Peach for pinging me on FB - haven't gotten on the forum in ages.

I'm in Cupertino, CA - near San Jose/San Francisco, so I can be available whenever - will have all my stuff charged up and ready just in case they do SF.   Peach has my mobile # if need be.  We were there at the beginning of this season in LA - would be too cool to be there for any pieces of the finale...

If there's a sighting at Narita airport on the US inbound, that's a Skyteam/Delta hub. In which case, I'd think Seattle, Minneapolis, or Detroit for a finish line.

I do think that a northern tier city is more likely because you get better (cooler) weather and a late sunset this time of year.

With the lack of sightings, Im thinking
A leg is a over and we missed them
B Tiffany/Krista were decoys and teams have yet to race to Macau

Weren't flights delayed out of Poland due to a storm?

Final City Guess: Seattle
Don't think its F4 TBC again

This makes me think if they asked if Tiffany & Krista were with camera crew?

I believe they were said to have been with a crew, yes.

Macau leg should be done w/ racers proceding to HKIA now

I don't think there's enough time for them to be putting out decoys, so they just probably used less public places and avoided too many fans spotting them.

My thought is a Salt Lake City finale, but my guts are assuming Seattle at this point because of the flight/travel information people have been showing on the forum.

Heavy, severe thunderstorms up here in Chicago (and Detroit) for the next two days, so visiting the Ohio Valley is unlikely.

If they were to be headed to Chicago, the severe weather threat would be out of the way by the time teams made it there.  The fact that NYC is an possibility does raise the possibility of a throwback to a TAR 1 finish at Flushing Meadows, which I would like with this particular route.

Okay, thanks schnauzer. I will still be on the look-out for teams while driving about. I would be interested if teams had to NYC, but puzzled why since the city was visited in TAR21 and visited Flushing Meadows again during the start of TAR25.

I haven't seen anything very reliable about the final leg location, but the strongest rumblings have been about New York City. If I had to make a bet on it, I'd say New York City. Flights from Hong Kong start arriving at JFK and Newark around 1:00 PM, so you might keep your eyes open in the afternoon or evening.

I'm surprised about New York City too and still think a west coast city is very possible.

So . . . no one's seen the teams at Hong Kong's airport yet?  Figured they'd be there by now, unless it's a thirty-six-hour Pit Stop.

Most flights are experiencing at least a 1 hour plus delay in departure from HKG

There's no such thing as 12 hour or 24 hour or 36 hour fixed length pit stops any more. Teams no longer know how long a pit stop may be, or if there is one of any length at all.

Maybe what he meant was a pit stop 36 hours long, not necessarily a fixed one. :) Kym & Alli mentioned it in an article, and the link is somewhere near the end pages of the Amazing Race Questions thread.

Pure spec; if the rumblings about MYC are believed, it would be fantastic to have a Switchback to Hello/Goodbye memory task followed by the finish line at Flushing Meadows

We visited Flushing Meadows in TAR25... Unlikely that we're going to New York. Probably a Seattle finish line. Now that I think about it, Denver has not been visited in a while... but my bets are still on Seattle.

Random idea but what about an Alasksa finish line. I believe the last time they went to Alaska was S12.

I think they'd save Alaska for Japan's penultimate since there are some direct flights from Japan to Alaska.
