I like how in TARCAN, any team can win (even teams you wouldn't expect to win a leg) and any team can lose (even teams that you predict will go far)

THAT was really annoying how they used their express this early, like I understand the challenge was difficult but it was so early in the game and they could have probably caught up, especially during the time everyone was waiting for the ferry but I guess they can't predict the future... so I kinda understand

TAR Can should be like every other TAR and go international on every leg! 

Sick of seeing inside Canada, with the same provinces being used over and over again!

Honestly, it's even more irritating that they went all the way to Indonesia (and Mexico later) only for ONE LEG than 100% Canada route like TARCAN1. Idk, was that really worth?

Sadly, I don't think full international route is possible for this version because of it bland patriotism, but I always wonder why they didn't try doing routes like this:

3 legs in Canada -------> 6 legs outside in just ONE REGION (Europe, Asia, Southeast Asia + Oceania, Latin America...) --------> back to Canada for last 2 legs.

It would please both patriots and international legs fans.

I can't agree with this sentiment given the illogical routes produced in the 3 of the past 4 seasons. Such a waste of budget unnecessarily cross-crossing the country that really could be used elsewhere.

No good reason why they couldn't have had a second leg in Jakarta. They were already there for crying out loud.

Sadly, I agree with this. With Dawson City, Salt Spring and Fredericton being visited this season, my list of future locations has now been reduced to but a few places - mostly in Quebec and Ontario. If there is to be a season 7, they're going to have to rethink a few things. And I have also wondered why they couldn't do a domestic/international/domestic route.

There are still a ton of places in Canada to visit!!! Revisits aren't terrible in big cities cause there's so much more to do there!! I think the future of TAR CAN is bright!! They just gotta pick this season up!

For those who follow spoilers, it's mostly not surprising, but ain't it anti-climatic CTV official TAR Canada channels, pretty much revealing if a leg is a elimination leg, before it airs? Just saw a post in their Insta stories....

Are you including Heroes' Edition with 3 and 5? If so, then I concur.

For those who follow spoilers, it's mostly not surprising, but ain't it anti-climatic CTV official TAR Canada channels, pretty much revealing if a leg is a elimination leg, before it airs? Just saw a post in their Insta stories....

In past seasons, we'd see the same "we'll interview the eliminated team" (before the show airs) in promos from CTV shows The Social, Your Morning, etc. You wouldn't hear it when it was a NEL or KOR.

Only 1 Indonesian leg! Are they serious.... They flew halfway across the world to only visit Jakarta and then fly back to Canada 
They could have at least visited Bali, Yogyakarta, Lombok for another leg or maybe Singapore. I mean you're already there in the region.
I would have loved the Jakarta-Bali combo.

I love how all the female teams are still standing (and at the top). They cast some strong ones this year Every Can season before has lost at least one by leg 4, which was kinda my prediction for Zainab & Monica.

I feel like TARCAN doing so much better job of casting FF teams than TARUS. I mean 3 FF teams made finale in just 4 seasons, lol.

I'm glad all FF teams are still in the race too, it's refreshing.

But I also think seasons 2 & 4 are miles above 3, 5 and 6 so far in terms of quality IMO.

That article about the difficulties of this leg...yeah right. So with ALL that why NOT do a second leg? Makes no sense.

Based on timing, it seems as though there should have been one.

So choices would be

-- no planned second leg
--planned second leg that had to be scrapped pre filming
--second leg scrapped during or immediately after filming and all placement changes trashed

Based on timing there was room to spare right?
