If started with 11 teams or 12 teams and 1st 3 legs were elim, at least 2 ff are out

Yeap, doesn't look good til now for the FF teams.

I really wouldn't be surprised if they came to Cape Breton after the Halifax leg, it's a 4-5 hour drive and many flight options from Halifax to Sydney at about 30-50 minutes each. You have the Fortress of Louisbourg, the Cabot Trail, and many Gaelic things here. From here they could go to Newfoundland from North Sydney as well, close to many cities and towns in the west side of Newfoundland if they didn't go back to St. John's.

I'm kinda hopeful for a MF finalist, anyway :P

Both seasons so far have ended with 2 MM and a FF

At this point(Leg 4), all 2 FF teams are done, right???  :( Another early females boots in this franchise.  :(

All 3 MM teams and 6 MF teams were spotted back in Canada.

We have 12 teams.

Based on life sightnings:
1st team out - unknown team, possible MF hippies
2nd team out - middle east looking women
3rd team out - blue FF team

I think that there is really small chance that there was NEL in first 3 legs. That would mean that 10th place team would been eliminated in 4th leg, which looks impossible for me. (Last year 10th placers was eliminated in 2nd leg.)

The blue ff looked like they could have gone far.
Either the team broke down, were unturned, or were penalized in some way.

He found the pitstop
See which team is safe

I can see the greeter is a town crier. Very appropriate for Halifax.

I think this team is number 9/10 in our starting line photo.
With this m/f team, we now have 11 team spotted, with at least 11 teams on leg 2, so the 12 team theory is looking good, or the first leg was NEL.

I was searching in the live sighting threat and couldn't find the post about the hippie m/f team. Where does it come from? Are these two the hippies team? Or they were eliminated first?

The sighting of the "hippie" m/f team was by me in Toronto last Saturday. Sorry I couldn't snap a photo but they ran from behind me, past me, and into the ACC. Both of them had long hair let down, (like shoulder length), dirty blonde if I recall. Keep in mind that when I was there we almost definitely were watching the back of the pack. First teams were sighted at the ACC around 11am, and the hippies were the last team sighted going into the ACC (and seen that day at all) at around 3pm, and not long after they entered, they closed up all the doors and stuff.

I think 21/22 may indeed be the hippies as you can see #21 looks like a male with quite long hair and a hat on?

(Just to add to the 12 teams)

All white cast ugh

1/2: Older Men/ Younger daughter?
3/4: Green team  older M/F with Kaki bags
5/6: M/M ??
7/8: BC black team with blue backpacs
9/10: ?/F (9 looks female)
11/12: F/F with blue backpacs
13/14: M/F with burgendy bags
15/16: Purple F/F
1718: M/M with purple shirts but blue backpacs spoted in QC/Toronto/Chile
19/20: African-Canadian with dreads and red backpacs
21/22: ?? no clue, seems like one guy, maybe the hippies?
23/24:  'fat' M/M with Neon Yellow shirt

If there's 12 teams, we may possibly have a double-elimination, then? If it was some kind of starting line challenge, the 12th team wouldn't have even made it to Toronto.
